Decisive action or imagery: Gun control and the power of political symbolism
Washington (CNN) - The pictures told the story: Vice President Joe Biden looked solemn, patrician and in control as he sat at a long table in the White House, flanked by people on both sides of the gun control issue.
The images conveyed a sense that the White House was in command on this issue.

Gun safety efforts: MSM immediately truies to undermine its credibility by questioning whether it's serious or just "imagery."
4+ years of absolute nonsense from the right wing, which instantly responded to the election of a black Dem as POTUS with a massive effort to radicalize itself, shift further to the right, and is now threatening to cause a default on the national debt and force government shutdowns: MSM never once asks if it is a whole bunch of extremist kabuki theater and spends 4+ years propping up the GOP/Teatroll tantrum, lending it false legitimacy and helping it broadcast its talking points.

If Obama was sincere about reducing gun violence he should end the insane drug war. That would mean he would have to be effective, something he has shown he is next to useless at.

@moose dont blame admin on jobs. Blame congress. Obama american jobs abt been sitting on boehner desk since sept of 2011. He wont even put it on floor 4 vote. Put blame where blame is do. Teaparty cried jobs and got voted in in 2010. They gerrymandered districts 2 make it 2 1/2 dem votes = 1 rep vote. Harder 2 get rid of them and they cant stop thinking about a womans beaver hole!
