(CNN) – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may not know her plans for the future, but her husband certainly pictures her being around for a long, long time.
Talking about her recent health setback, former President Bill Clinton said his wife will be just fine and boasted of her "low blood pressure" and "standing heartbeat."
"I tell her…she's still got time to have three more husbands after me," he joked. "So I think she'll live to be 120."

"I always know that she's thinking about that," he continued. "Whenever I'm stubborn about something, in her constant quest in my self-improvement, she refers to me as her first husband."
His comments came while speaking at his second annual "Health Matters: Activating Wellness in Every Generation" conference in Palm Springs, California.
Hillary Clinton was recently sidelined by illness, a concussion and a blood clot near her brain, for which she was hospitalized. The secretary of state returned to work last week.
She plans to step down from her post as soon as her successor is confirmed. Speaking publicly for the first time since being sick, she told reporters last week she's not sure what comes next but added she'll be stepping "off the very fast track for a little while."
Referring to questions about a potential 2016 presidential bid, her husband said Tuesday his advice "is that she should rest up and decide what she wants to do with the rest of her life."

Hillary 2016!
And Bill has time for hundreds more affairs with fat interns.
Secty Clinton I suggest you pray and ask GOD for wisdom knowledge and understanding and guidance and direction regarding your future family and political plans. HE has a plan and destiny for you. Whatever it is MUCH SUCCESS!
What happened to Hillary was minor in the whole scheme of things. She can run in 2016 and beat any rethug out there who stands behind voter suppression and human and civil rights taken away from anybody not them. This includes, at the state level, trying to rewrite our electoral vote rules.
LOL. Watch out Bill. If she's referring to you as her "first husband", she's got spunk. I really hope she remains well and maybe will run for president in 2016. I think she would be a great one. God bless you both.
Of course she will outlive Bill. Men usually die first.
Our dear Bill, she will be just FINE. Yes, on Hillary16.
You gotta love President Clinton...Good luck Secretary Clinton in whatever you choose to do! I'm really glad you're feeling better.
So its okay Clinton cheated on his wife and lied under oath??? What happened to womans lib on this one???
prediction : dems will win the house in 2014 – hillary will be elected in 2016 as our first woman commander in chief. Take a look at Germany / England & others, we need to get with the program, people.
No one is perfect Moose, no matter what party they represent or the color of their skin. We're all human. The fact that Newt the womanizer Gingrich was leading the charge, all while he himself had a sidepiece makes me take President Clintons side even more. One thing I hate is a hypocrite.
If Hillary and Chris Christie want to be around to run in 2016 they better start taking better care of themselves from a physical standpoint. Neither of them look healthy.
@wake up, So if thats your mentality, its ok to cheat, just another lib with no morals or ethics, the article was about the Clintons not newt , and your the hypocrite so hate yourself
It's going to take her a lot longer than 120 years to find 3 more idiots willing to marry her.
Bill could be right, but by the time the present administration is done...the country could be tired of Socialist/Progressive rule...
@Moose. Please stop generalizing. I am not saying it's ok to cheat, but does that change the fact that many do? No the article wasn't about Newt but it wasn't about President Clintons' philandering either but that didn't stop you from inserting it into the conversation. One thing I will NEVER do is hate myself. People like you pretend to be so morally upright but listen to the hate you spew daily. I'm praying for you Moose. Everything will be ok.
I hope Hillary does what is in her heart and what makes her happy. She has had a great career and I am very proud of her. I would love to see her be the next elected POTUS. However it is her decision and hers alone.
No one knows what's going to happen the next moment. People who live in denial have this attitude that they will be there for a long time and then reality kicks in bringing in depression because they were never prepared. I understand that one should live optimistically but most important thing is to live correctly rightly now. No one knows the future. Just have fun, be happy, do not worry too much about the future.
@wake up oh booo-hooo, so the story must of been how Clinton lied under oath at his impeachment hearing, hows that ben ghazi thing comming, sen menendez pedophile illegal, you voted for this enjoy it
3 more husbands? don't you mean girlfriends?
in her constant quest in my self-improvement, she refers to me as her first husband."

Unh huh.
You try to pull another "Lewinsky" (sp) on her and see if she's not right.
Hillary is a strong woman not a useless ho like the Thrilla from Wassilla, she can map her future, stay the course and achieve it. You on the other, Bill, and as much as I love you, yo have reached your pinnacle. Translation: You're pretty much done, coming on the down side of the mountain, so to speak.
Be kind and supportive of Hillary because if that thingy on your nose is any indication you will need her more than she'll need you.
IMO
I think by the time 2016 gets here Hillary Clinton is more likely to be retired than gearing up for another campaign for POTUS. Her window of best opportunity passed her by when she lost in 2008. I think she'll just be too old come 2016 to be looking at eight years ahead of her in the White House.
@Moose. Look in the mirror when you say boo hoo hoo, you're the one whining, not me. I am simply trying to enjoy this beautiful day that the Lord has blessed me to see. Have a blessed day everyone, especially my new friend Moose.
@Bob – It must be wonderful to be so perfect that you can look down from so far above the rest of us. As for me, my lifetime of mistakes may differ from President Clinton's but I pray for forgiveness for my human errors, especially if I find myself judging others. I wish the Clinton's good health and happiness. I wish you the same, Bob.
'ol Bill is starting to look like Larry Hagman – when he (Hagman) was in his drinking prime.
