First on CNN: Conservative group launches ad campaign against Obama

(CNN) - A conservative group formerly known as the Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama is planning an ad buy it says will counteract the advocacy efforts of groups supporting President Barack Obama like his former campaign outfit, now Organizing for Action.

The Conservative Campaign Committee PAC's executive director, Joe Wierzbicki, says the buy "will be low-to-mid six figures" on cable in Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio and Wisconsin, as well as on national cable. The group is targeting Massachusetts in particular because of the expected special election for the U.S. Senate seat which John Kerry would resign if confirmed as Secretary of State as expected.

"Republicans and conservatives strongly disagree with President Obama on taxes, on spending, on the debt ceiling, on foreign affairs, on immigration, on the 2nd Amendment, and so much more," Wierzbicki said when announcing the ad. "It's time for conservatives and Republicans to start drawing a stark contrast between ourselves and Obama, and differentiate ourselves."

The ad makes a variety of unfounded claims against Obama, such as that he "won't accept any spending cuts" and "outrageously, he's asked doctors to find out what kinds of guns you own, how many, and then report you to the government." The claims largely cite conservative commentators and outlets including radio talk show host Mark Levin, The Daily Caller, and The Washington Examiner.

This group was created by a parent group of Tea Party Express, the Our Country Deserves Better Committee. It has been supported by several political figures popular among conservatives, including Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona's Maricopa County, and Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, better known as "Joe the Plumber."

The ad will begin running on February 2, the group said.

Why don't these so-called God-fearing people spend $$$$ to help the poor, instead of just helping themselves?

If this deficit business is so vital and important, why didn't these clowns start their whining during the Bush years? He and his Republican Congressional cronies started with a surplus, then kept spending and spending with nary a peep from conservatives.

All this debt ceiling angst is just a conservative tool to distract voters from real issues.

It's about time Obama doesn't rule all the mainstream media. I can't even stand to watch that news media anymore, they are all in Obama's hip pocket. Who paying these stations to air only positive untruths about Obama. Must be Soros or one of his leftist liberals....Too bad, Obama we all don't agree with you AT ALL....

Republicans should stop complaining until they understand that trillions of dollars in tax cuts BEFORE spending cuts equal trillions of dollars in debt. After Republicans agreed to trillions in tax cuts (that is what making the Bush tax cuts permanent for most Americans means) without spending cuts in the fiscal cliff deal, they should give it a rest.

IIt's about time!!! Time to expose this fraud for who he really is and what he has really done!! Mainstream media has the un-informed public by the brain and they need some education! Expat really?? Where has anyone treated non-whites, non-Christians and woman as lower caste?? Seems to me all Obama has done is submit those to a lower caste with the expanded welfare, expanded food stamps, baby murdering, trampling on right of christians, etc. Where are the jobs?? Only jobs can lift people out of poverty! Maybe you love giving away your freedom to have the government take care of you on my dime but I'm not going to take it anymore!
    **************************************
There would have been no need for more people to go onto welfare if the Right ahd not run the economy into the ditch. As for the jobs, there has been staeady private sector job gorth for the last 3 years even with the GOP doing everything to hinder it. By the way, you should have kept quiet about the rights of Christians being trampled on, since all that it did was make me laugh even harder. Now sit down, Gramps, take your pill, and go back to watching Jerry Springer: its more informative than FOX News, and more credible than watching Uncle Rupert's machine.

Everyone will not like everyone. Everyone will not agree with everyone . That's where compromise come into play. Our country will never progress, if we all do is bash one another senselessly. Instead of spreading hated and negative connotation which may or may not be true. Make a stand . The comments and debates on this media outlet is a start, but not enough.

As an Independent/Libertarian, I can tell you, this current flavor of the GOP is not what it is about.
REAL Republicans like Goldwater, the elder Rockefellers, Eisenhower...they would be considered RINO's now.
The current GOP is about religious extremism, and that is not a good thing.

The republicans should do anything and everything they can to stop this arrogant so called president. The truth always comes out in the end. The mainstream media only reports what obama tells them.

All this talk about spending money on a much needed ad, I don't hear you liberals talking about all the wasted money on the Obama's luxurious vacations while the rest of us suffer, how about the millions that went to the Muslim Brotherhood, I don't hear about the wasted money Obama spends bashing anyone who disagrees with him. This ad is a much needed change. If liberals are so tolerant, why do they want to shut out anyone who disagrees with them?
