Video: Obama to make State of the Union case
(CNN) - Obama will focus on "pocketbook" issues in his State of the Union speech Tuesday. CNN's Athena Jones reports.
You running hyper unemployment problem. Stress on it. Tighten immigration in this scenario, please. Lots of abuse in system.
Gas prices are soaring, Yea only the top 1% use gas to get to work. Food prices are soaring, and only the top 1% eat!! This potus is running it into the ground, this is the USA not Enron!! Enough already.
It's great to focus on pocketbook issues, but if Obama doesn't tie those issues together into a bigger blueprint for his vision of how the country goes forward, dealing with jobs, getting the economy going, and cutting spending, then it's a missed opportunity.
I'd be pleased to see Republicans contribute constructive comments in their "rebuttal" of the President's State of the Union Address. Instead of dissecting each phrase for political advantage why not take the opportunity to build on the areas of agreement? Both Democrats and Republicans need to give specifics! If they want to cut Medicare and Social Security benefits speak up! Define EXACTLY which programs they are willing to eliminate or transfer the costs and responsibilities to the States. Say something real.

So he will face the nation after being exposed of lying to them about Benghazi – the day after, the weeks after – to get re-elected – and having no conscience of neglecting to try to save those brave Americans. This is criminal behavior – Nixon was impeached for much less.
Obama state of the union address is the continuation of the same. In over 4 years he really has done nothing more then to reward his friend, donors and those who can work but won't, for the government gives them more than they could get by working. Entitlements like food stamps and Medicaid, which is paid for by working tax payers need to be scaled back, it is to easy for those who can work but done and collage students to receive. Social security and Medicare is paid into by those who worked and now are retired. Social security is a trust that was treated as a piggy bank for the federal government, who took but never paid back. Money given to states for education, teachers, fire fights and police were use by many states to shore up their states budgets, not help those it was intended for.
