Carter weighs in on Oscar-nominated 'Argo'

(CNN) - Former President Jimmy Carter offered his unique insight and perspective on the motion picture "Argo," an Oscar-nominated film that's based on actual events occurring during his presidency.

While he said the movie was a "great drama," Carter told CNN's Piers Morgan there was one key discrepancy.

"Ninety percent of the contributions to the ideas and the consummation of the plan was Canadian," Carter said. "The movie gives almost full credit to the American CIA. And with that exception, the movie's very good."

The lowest point in American dignity can be attributed to the idiot carter. Day after day, American hostages were paraded blindfolded while this incompetent president wondered what to do. The real telling part of the saga was that the day Reagan was elected president, the hostage takers decided to release the hostages! (they knew what was coming if they didn't). I can't even envision a more incompetent person to have ever sat in our white house – asking for Carter's "opinion" about anything is a disgrace and insult!

    That's amusing.

Carter was a bit inept, when it came to operations on foreign soil.

If I could pick the character of my kids based on our recent former Presidents I'd select Jimmy Carter. For intellect I'd pick Bill Clinton. For patriotism I'd pick George H. W. Bush. For guts I'd pick Harry Truman. For charisma I'd pick Ronald Reagan. For a composite package I'd pick Barrack Obama.

"Ninety percent of the contributions to the ideas and the consummation of the plan was Canadian," And you wonder why he had a failed presidency. He could not muster up the necessary resourses to plan it. The men that died in the desert of Iran were a direct result of his lack of leadership.

One more reason why Jimmy Carter is one of our great presidents..... Who was fraudulently defeated for
    re-election by a fool.

Good movie even if you knew what was going to happen. It seems the Canadians had a hand in helping out so if they want to get more credit they can always produce their own movie.
Just like Afleck, nor Mendez, really look Latino except for the name.
