Romney: Campaign was a 'roller coaster'

(CNN) - Mitt Romney compared his presidential run to the highs and lows of a roller coaster ride - and, like all rides, it must come to an end.

"We were on a roller coaster, exciting and thrilling ups and downs, but the ride ends and then you get off," he said in an interview with Fox News.

"And it's not like, oh, can't we be on a roller coaster the rest of our life? No, that ride's over," he added.

Romney was the Republican presidential nominee in 2012, and was defeated by President Barack Obama.

It was Romney’s second bid for the White House.

He is a former governor of Massachusetts and also mounted a U.S. Senate challenge to Edward Kennedy in 1994, but lost.

Life off of the campaign trail is "different," he said - and no doubt less stressful and slower paced.

His wife, Ann, was along for the ride and described her husband's bid for office as a type of civic service similar to his service within the Mormon church.

Life since November, she said, has been "an adjustment but it's one that I think we did well."

"It's like we came and stepped forward to serve and the other part of it was an amazing thing, and it was really quite a lot of energy and a lot of passion and a lot of people around us, and all of a sudden it was nothing," she said, seated alongside her husband.

"But the good news is fortunately we like each other."

Anybody still wondering who's "joined at the hip" to Faux? And why? Maybe paranoia explains their problem with MSM?

It's a good thing Mitt and Ann like each other, because most Americans could not even "fall in like" with them.

well its a no brainer on why he lost BIG TIME. 1st off he could never tell the truth on anything. 2nd he never gave his True veiws on anything, he'd say this, then the next day he would do a 180 on the subject. 3rd his policy Would in deed hurt middle class people, and destroy jobs. 4th his policy protected the rich people. 5th he did nothing but insult every country he went to, exept israel. 6th he was so out of touch with the general pop. 7th the man was just down right dangerous, wanted to start all these wars, while at the same time making the middle class people give there blood and money. taking all this into consideration, no wonder he lost.

I wanted to see his tax returns and couldn't tolerate the "Etch-A-Sketch" flip-flopping. It was that simple.

Well, Mr. Romney was pretty irrelevant even before his (surprise) loss in November. He's still irrelevant.

Nice distraction, CNN. Harry Pelosi and Nancy Reid are worthless, useless, good for nothing obstructionists, but the important news is about Mitt Romney's left wing torpedoed campaign. You guys rule!!!!

Rumor has it that Mr. Romney is planning a number of overseas visits to visit his money stashed in tax-free accounts. And folks wonder why there is a sequester that will primarily adversely affect the middle-class working stiffs.....

Well, if she really likes him, he has one supporter left. Too bad for him him, however, that that will never put him back at the public pig trough. Maybe next time he will create a real plan and some solid positions on the issues, he might find that the voters will respond much better.
