The evolution of the nation's 'first gay president'
(CNN) - He has been declared America's "first gay president."
But President Barack Obama's evolution to that title hasn't been easy. His positions zig-zagged over almost two decades.

I agree with the idea, it is simply politically motivated to capture votes from another special interest group.
Gay rights are something I support, but I don't see Obama as a champion of gay rights.........I see him as an opportunist, looking for votes, to expand his stranglehold on our government.

I feel if the republicans would have allowed to rebuild our infrastructue,the debt would have come down in a very big way,and sometimes you have to spend money to make money but would have payed off in a big way,it would have put thousands to work aand a lot of revenue payed to our govt. It seems the republicans are paying the voters back for voting Obama in again,I dont think they really care about their fellow americans. Congress should have their salarys taken away,they havent earned it.

Obama dont have time to talk about gay people, its budgets cuts time an its a sin in the eye sight of god that people are gay. the bible is right an somebody wrong.
Soon the Supreme court will rule on DOMA and Prop 8. Polls indicate that the majority of American believe that LGBT American should have the equal rights
Obama first...? so we have a gay couple in the White House....Who would have guessed it...?
