(CNN) - Do you hear what I hear? Sarah Palin already has Christmas on her mind.
In the upcoming title, "A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas," the former Alaska governor argues the holiday has become too secular because of "the politically correct elite who have hijacked the season," according to a release from the book's publisher, HarperCollins.

Scheduled for a November release, her new book will be out in time for purchase by all holiday shoppers, naughty or nice.
Her book, the publisher states, will make the argument for a more traditional Christmas that emphasizes the Christian theme behind the holiday. Palin will highlight "the importance of preserving Jesus Christ in Christmas," whether that's in public displays, school concerts or pageants. The book will also include personal memories and traditions from the most wonderful time of the year.
The 2008 vice presidential nominee has been known to defend her stance on Christmas in the past. In 2011, Palin blasted President Obama's Christmas card as "odd" on Fox News because it featured the family's dog, Bo, sitting by a fire, rather than prominently displaying values of "family, faith and freedom."
In a statement, Palin said her new book will be a "fun, festive, thought provoking" piece that will encourage readers to "unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas."
The book follows her two other books, "Going Rogue" (2009) and "America by Heart" (2010).
- CNN's Kevin Bohn and Ashley Killough contributed to this report.
@Thomas – even better, Palin seems completely unaware that Charles Dickens, creator of Scrooge, *was a liberal who wrote extensively on the social ills caused by capitalism.*
The irony, it burns us precious!
Sarah, News flash Christmas is a pagan festival, do the research.
I am guessing that the irony of profiting from a book about the secularization and commericalizing of Christmas is completely lost on her.
The book "Tinsel" about how commercial Christmas has become has already adequately showed how the kind of people who follow the Sarah Palin's of the world have perverted the holiday and turned it into the spectacle it has become. Not that I expect Sarah has read it...
"Her book sounds like great Easter reading material"
Her book sounds like a bound collection of used cat box liners.
FIFY
"unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas."
So says the woman using Christ as her own personal money tree. I'm going to go all rogue on her and pass on her provocative (or otherwise) "Christ" thoughts.
Sarah Palin reminds me of Emily Litella from Gilda Radner's days at SNL.
She misses the whole point of everything, but tries to turn nothing into a big opportunity for her to complain to everyone everywhere. It would be embarrassing, if she could ever feel embarrassment.
Wait, she alludes that Christmas has been corrupted by capitalism, yet releases a book to coincide with the holiday shopping season?
Seriously?
The eyes in the back of her head must be as blind as the front ones.
I think that Easter is actually the IMPORTANT one. Heaven help the conservatives if Palin is still their voice. I wonder if she actually wrote this one or used a ghost writer again.
If only Jesus were actually born at Christmas, that would be cool. But the reason for the season is not Jesus, it is the changing of the season. It is Dec. 21st when we call back the light.
-------------------------------------------------
Never heard that one about the reson for the season being the changing of the season. Did hear, however, that it was the "Chrishun" response to paganist rituals occurring at around that same time of year.
In any event what we do know for certain is that (1) It has nothig to do with the actual birth of Jesus (period unknown), and (2) The 'Ho from Wassilla is not beyond using Jesus to make a buck.
She can lose the hat.
Palin's book should be listed in the "fantasy" section of the bookstore. Too bad for Palin that Sen Rand Paul has replaced her as the most ridiculous and insidious personality in the Republican/Tea Party.
Why does Palin act more and more like the mother in "Carrie?"
@Dutch/Bad Newz, VA: "The "HOLY"day was hijacked a long time ago. Who came up with idea of some fat guy flying around in a chariot with reindeers delivering gifts?"
I think it was the Norwegians.
Please, for the love of God, Sarah, just go away.
Sarah Palin is not a "has been" she's a "never was." Please stop reporting on her.
"sure are timing it to take advantage of the un-Christian orgy of capitalism known as Black Friday."
And have no doubt in your pretty little heads that numerous PACs and other activist groups will buy thousands of them to be handed out at conferences etc., just so Jabberwocky Barbie can pretend that her ghostwritten 300+ pages of ideological word salad and vapid verbal diarrhea were a "best seller." It's the same crap Gingrich and Coulter and the rest of them pull in order to fluff their book sales.
When will they stop shoving Christmas down our throats!!! Every year by the time Christmas rolls around if I have to hear Jingle Bells one more time I'm gonna snap – it starts at Halloween !!! what more do they want??
Please make her go away!

Here's one for you Sarah: What relevance does the Cadburry Bunny have to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ?
------------------
The book has a November release. I doubt anyone has a handle on how many copies might be sold. She must be trying to drum up interest in the hope of building up demand and advance orders.
Does anyone remember her last media foray? Remember that movie she had made that couldn't gross $100,000 nationwide.
She will do and say anything to make a dime! Maybe this time, the public will be smart enough to ignore her latest book and not give her any more millions.
Seldom does Sarah Palin write anything without taking a shot at the President.
For crying out loud, santa claus has nothing to do with christians..... Stop trying to rewrite history
Did she say that her book would be "thought provoking?"....Then she's gonna HAVE to use a ghost writer.
Crayons sold separately.
She is right. Last year a school had to go through loopholes for the students to see A Charlie Brown Christmas – ridiculous. Chirstmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. People who don't believe in this don't have to. But they can't make the holy day disappear, and persecute those who honor it.
To quote "The Palin" my new book will be "fun, festive, thought provoking" Really? To quote an excerpt from Poe’s Raven: "Much I marveled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly, though it answers little meaning, little relevancy bore" "The Palin" offers little meaning and little relevancy to quote the Raven "Nevermore" Be gone Sister Sarah-be "Nevermore"
