(CNN) - Do you hear what I hear? Sarah Palin already has Christmas on her mind.
In the upcoming title, "A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas," the former Alaska governor argues the holiday has become too secular because of "the politically correct elite who have hijacked the season," according to a release from the book's publisher, HarperCollins.

Scheduled for a November release, her new book will be out in time for purchase by all holiday shoppers, naughty or nice.
Her book, the publisher states, will make the argument for a more traditional Christmas that emphasizes the Christian theme behind the holiday. Palin will highlight "the importance of preserving Jesus Christ in Christmas," whether that's in public displays, school concerts or pageants. The book will also include personal memories and traditions from the most wonderful time of the year.
The 2008 vice presidential nominee has been known to defend her stance on Christmas in the past. In 2011, Palin blasted President Obama's Christmas card as "odd" on Fox News because it featured the family's dog, Bo, sitting by a fire, rather than prominently displaying values of "family, faith and freedom."
In a statement, Palin said her new book will be a "fun, festive, thought provoking" piece that will encourage readers to "unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas."
The book follows her two other books, "Going Rogue" (2009) and "America by Heart" (2010).

Over the hill, Baby, over the hill. Your 15 minutes is up, please go away.........................
IF she really wants to talk about the birth of Christ, then she should talk about celebrating the true date of his birth, which is sometime in September. December 25 is a pagan holiday (Winter Solstice)
One thing's for sure. This book will be very, very, very, easy to read.
Is she dressed to go to the latest boy band concert? Or is it prom night?
Like Bill O'Reilly, her idea of "keeping the spirit of Christmas alive" is to get hung up on what the checkout people at Wal-Mart say while their garish store blares alerts on the PA about Christmas sales for goods made in China.
She is a true patriiot and a real woman – unlike the offensive, arrogant, callous "What differnce does it make?!" Hilary Clinton.
Keep Sol in Solstice! The real reason for the season... celestial mechanics.
I guess Sarah is going to show us how to think, yet again.
Palin doesn't write. Someone was paid to create a "book" out of her ramblings. She just makes me vomit.
That flushing sound you hear while reading this is the sound of her career while it finally goes to the void. Longest 15 minutes in history.
Will it be a hardcover book with easy to read big print, and pictures?
Sarah in a Mao cap? Well suits her Alaska Seperatist philosophies, right Comrade?
When I look back at us history, its scary that some people took this woman serious. Thank God America is getting smarter and wise.
If she wanted to celebrate Christmas in the spirit of the Puritans, we would not have the day off at all. Thanksgiving was their big holiday, where they gave thanks for the harvest. Of course, that would not happen in the caplitalist, consumer-driven society we've had for the last 150 years, since the Victorians really started to commercialize the holiday, but hey, lets get back to the basics.
Now she can see the North Pole from her house?
I have an idea. How about we separate the birth of the Christian Savior from the day a man in a red suit goes around spoliling kids? Then, rather than worrying about how to pay off the credit card bills in January, we can focus on celebrating Jesus. Just sayin'
Come on lady, that's old news from the 50's. When are you going to learn it's best to leave foot in your mouth. We'd all be better off you did!
I wonder who she got to actually write this one for her? Because once she finishes her ten minute tirade (that repeats the same theme every two minutes) she has nothing left that she can say. I would have used the word "articulate" instead of "say" but I wanted to make sure all of her supporters could comprehend my cogitations covering her complaints concerning Christmas.
Bet it has pop up pictures and big print!
when is she going to realize the more she says the more we'll be able to make fun of her?
@freedom, Palin is arrogant, offensive and callous: she described parts of our beautiful country as " more patriotic than others." Who is she to judge anyone based on what she thinks their beliefs are?
Oh this is hilarious. All rejoice, the festival of Saturn (which was the actual holiday on December 25). As someone else had pointed out, if you actually cared about when Jesus was born, it was around an equinox not winter solstice.
Get off your cross Palin, no one is destroying Christianity by saying 'Happy Holidays.'
Preaching traditional religious based Christmas with a book set to be released near the holidays so she can earn more money off the backs of her fanatic followers. Priceless.
Really interesting that the party that thinks they won a ficticious "war on women" can be so hateful to a woman who has done nothing to hurt anyone. Could it be that the democrat party is a farce on this issue – or that the mere mention of Sarah Palin's name threatens them.
