Video: Biden meets Pope Francis
(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden, the leader of the U.S. delegation to Pope Francis' formal installation, met the new pontiff on Tuesday.

Gave millions to the people who lost their jobs because Bain bought them out....how generous of him. Kind of like getting a few coins tossed to you as the limo drives by. The bulk of that money went to Romney's church, by the way...a church Francis views as heretical.

You give what you have Biden's worth is less then a million dollars while Romney is worth 250 million or more. it is not how much you give that matters it is the heart. he could also be helping the poor in so many other ways that are not in monetary terms. God knows there heart let him be the judge.

Romney's daily income is something on the order of $50,000-60,000. You figure it out. One only needs so many homes and car elevators.

Indeed. I guess at one time in my life I would've also. But not now. The Catholic church, as the saying goes, has a lot of explaining to do. They always have though, haven't they? Yes, we've done a lot of good around the world, but...
In regards to Papa Francisco I am left feeling...nothing.
My church has some serious issues to address. They need to endeavor to make everyone feel welcome, not preach against them from the puplit. They should endeavor to stay out of politics.
This Pope is from Argentina. I should be happy about the fact that we finally have our first Hispanic Pope, and yet, I can't help but think that it is going to be more of the same, and that the real issues that plague our church will be swept under the new South American rug.
Bill raises a very Republican sort of point. They often proudly tout the money they give to this or that cause as "proof" of their religious/and or good "conservative spirit"/ character while utterly ignoring what they do in their day jobs-
Romney- the whole hate the 47% thing. He proved that he HATED the poor. He would gleefully slather the rich with more money- for the poor-nada.
The GOP- anti-worker, pro-violence, anti-women, anti- poor, anti-elderly. Even the "pro-life" thing doesn't work- the GOP seems to love only zygotes (even rapists' zygotes), real-live people- not so much. For them, no empathy whatsoever. They declare the poor failures and therefore worthy of their abuse.The war thing is difficult to square as well.
Look at what the Democrats and Biden support- the Violence against Women act, the raising of the minimum wage, workers' rights, voters' rights, civil rights. These are the act of people who understand the Gospels. These are things to raise the self, and the value of being human.
Meanwhile Meeee gets it most right. Bill (and the GOP) it doesn't matter what you (or I think)- it really is God's decision-and judgement.
...They have to stop shifting priests around and covering for them when they should be in counselling, jail, or defrocked.
