This reminds me of the ignorant stunt that Michelle Bachmann pulled last year at a meat processing plant. Her premise was to complain about how government regulations hurt small businesses. So what does she do? She tours the plant, which was actively processing product, with a press contingent and no hair restraint. Some members of the press that appeared in shots were wearing gloves and hair restraints.
Bachmann even went as far as to "lend a helping hand" on the processing line, and she continued to wear no hair restraint. In the end, it appeared to me that she was protesting regulations that promote sanitary conditions in the meat industry.
These gop cuts make no arcs ,ask the europens how much their budget cuts help them, it put them back in recession. The gop has never had a sucessful economic policy that worked without starting s war ,how anybody can vote for them shows the dumbing down of the gop voters from the red states and Minn, the dumbest gop voters in the whole country, example the teahage gop bachmann!!!!

The meat industry is protecting their markets, by keeping inspections going. To allow inspections to cease, would result in fear of the safety of the products...........which already have a bad enough record, WITH inspections!

How easily we ignore the facts. The idea came from th White House, and Republicans ran with it, to the extent that 3/4 of them voted in favor of the bill. You see, they figured that they would sweep up in 2012 and retake the entire Congress and the White House.
They figured the lame duck session would re-write the sequester: restoring defense cuts, extending tax cuts for the wealthy, and cutting entitlements even more. Fortunately, the 2012 elections didn't work out according to plan. Did it?

The GOP agreed to it. The only mistake the WH made was in thinking that the GOP was serious about solving the problem.
