(CNN) - Actor William Shatner wasn't too amused Tuesday by an Internal Revenue Service training video produced with a Star Trek theme.

The video came to light after legislators on a House Ways and Means subcommittee requested it and another they say resembled the television hit "Gilligan's Island." The IRS says the videos were produced for employee training at a 2010 conference.
Together, the videos cost $60,000 to make, according to Rep. Charles Boustany, R-Louisiana and chairman of the oversight subcommittee.
And the federal government waste machine plods on... with Obama and Democrats demanding more and more of your hard earned dollars to feed the beast. Do not worry.... your children will learn and adjust to eat less and do without. The primary concern is for the collective beast of the Democrats.
I'm not defending the videos, but I'm sure they were somewhat of a moral booster at the time of their showing. If they kept people from calling sick when they were not, if they got a little more productivity out of some other people, then they may have been worth it.

Wow, and I've spent my entire adult life paying for tax cuts that benefitted people who never needed them. The rightie tax-cutting mania has resulted in stagant middle-class incomes for 3 decades, and some people just can't accept that their false premise produced the real beast: debt.

Three decades huh??? My wages sure haven't stagnated for 3 decades! Then again, I've got an education, worked hard, saved, didn't expect others to provide for me, kept my nose clean, and wallah, I am doing pretty darn good. Those that are stagnating are long over due a look in the mirror. There they will find the source of their stagnation.
Conservatives: outraged over $60,000 in IRS waste, but perfectly happy with over $1T in unpaid for wars spending that, for the first time in our history, was not offset with a tax increase and was even kept off the books.
@Donna–Are you over 12?
"and wallah"
And "wallah," you still haven't learned to spell that correctly.
