Pat Boone joins Santorum in backing Sanford rival

(CNN) – Curtis Bostic, running against former Gov. Mark Sanford for a spot on the ballot in South Carolina's U.S. House election, received a boost this week when two prominent conservative endorsed him.

Rick Santorum, the former Pennsylvania senator and 2012 presidential candidate, touted Bostic's "robust conservative values" in an endorsement Tuesday, saying he would campaign for the candidate ahead of next Tuesday's vote.

And conservative crooner Pat Boone announced he was "singing the praises of Curtis Bostic" in an endorsement Wednesday, writing Bostic "can always be counted on to be faithful to his office" and "can always be counted on to be faithful to those who place him in office."

Boone's use of the word "faithful" twice seems far from accidental – Sanford, Bostic's rival, resigned from office in 2009 after admitting to an extramarital affair with a woman in Argentina.

Sanford and Bostic are competing in a runoff vote after neither candidate received over 50% in last week's primary. The winner will face Elizabeth Colbert Busch, the sister of comedian Stephen Colbert, in the general election.

Pat you look like a clown in that get-up, or a pimp wrapped in the American flag. Either way, ridiculous.

Hey Teatards, what was that I was hearing from you just a few days ago? Weren't you lecturing us on how the Hollywood types have no business in politics, and they should just shut-up and go away?

Well, I hope you little turd-nuggets aren't hypocrits, and you'll give the same advice to this rightwing Hollywood pinhead.

Gosh, I thought Pat Boone was dead. Guess not. He just looks like it. Well I guess he is following Clints lead and just choosing to be politically dead. Beats being physically dead.

I always thought that desecration of the American Flag was considered to be an offence that could run into fines or even jail time. Shouldn't this wrinkled old prune beheld to the same laws as the rest of us.

Poor Pat, he sanitized blues and rock to make it acceptable to white people. He is still trying to whitewash this country, but it won't work any more.

Give the man his props. He hasn't had a hit record in six decades, but he still manages to get his face in the news. By the way, the toupee looks really good!

Isn't is NICE to have the freedom of expression as I read the post notes here, I see clowns making ridiculous comments about a man who is not ashamed to express what he believes in . . . I am a German- Mutt-American now with that I am pleased and not ashamed to take my thoughts and at liberty share my American Right. Pat, personal attacks were made on you for what reason, can't respect Sniffit for his post note comment, as he is being a 2 faced ....

He (Pat), and daughter are both scam artist. It's no wonder the republicans accept this dried up cob, as one of their own.
