Petraeus apologizes for affair, says 'it was my own doing'
(CNN) - In a rare public appearance since admitting to an extramarital affair, David Petraeus apologized Tuesday night for the scandal that led to his resignation as head of the CIA last year.
Petraeus, a retired four-star general, has stayed out of the limelight since the affair was revealed in November.

Throughout in history most powerful people always enjoy little harmess (except for perhaps his/her spouse) sex outside of marriage. It was only in the last 20-30 years that so-called puritan find any every faults with your oppornents made it like a crime while actual crimes that harms millions may be overlooked. I would anytime have president like Clinton (remember the prosperity) with little bit of ciger activites than family-value shouting Bush. JFK and MRK had so much affairs but who care?
