Clinton to attend high-profile political events
(CNN) - After sitting out of the spotlight leaving public office, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is set to attend several events which will put her alongside presidents, possible White House contenders and other major political players.
Her first major public event since stepping down comes Tuesday, when Clinton attends a Washington awards ceremony that will also be attended by Vice President Joe Biden.

Both sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008 and are considered possible 2016 players.
The potential for rubbing shoulders will reach a high point on April 25, when Clinton will appear in Dallas at the dedication ceremony for former President George W. Bush's presidential center.
A spokesman for Clinton confirmed her attendance plans to CNN.
Each of the living former presidents, including her husband, Bill Clinton, are expected to attend.
President Barack Obama also was invited, the center said.
The day before, Clinton will deliver a paid speech in Dallas, the first such address to be announced since she stepped down in February.
Another potential 2016 White House contender, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, will be in town for an event on immigration, his book as well as his brother's ceremony.
