On a call about guns, Biden reacts to Boston explosions
(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden was on a conference call about legislation to combat gun violence Monday when he heard about the apparent bombings at the Boston Marathon.
"As I'm speaking here, they just turned on the television in my office and apparently there has been a bombing– I don't know any of the details of what caused it, who did it–I don't think it exists yet but our prayers are with those people in Boston who have suffered injuries," he said. "I don't know how many of them there are. I'm looking at it on television now."
Meanwhile, a White House official said the president has been notified of the explosions.
"His administration is in contact with state and local authorities. He directed his administration to provide whatever assistance is necessary in the investigation and response," the official said.

Now the NRA will claim that to guarantee the safety of marathons, the runners must be armed with handguns.

I have every expectation that Obama and Biden will track down, and bring to justice, the perpetrators of this heinous act just as they have done to the Benghazi murders.I will sleep well tonight knowing they are on this.
This proves that no matter what gun law's pass, crimes of this nature will continue. At a time when you cannot find .22 ammunition on the shelves of many stores in america, people with a propencity towards violence with prevail.

Blaming someone at this time is completely pointless, I would wait till the investigating is complete, my thoughts and prayers are with the families who had lost a loved one, or who have injuries. Really a sad day for all of us.
