Obama: Boston attacks being investigated as 'act of terror'
(CNN) - President Barack Obama said Tuesday that the Boston bombings were a "heinous and cowardly act" that the FBI is investigating as an act of terrorism.
"Any time bombs are used to target civilians, it is an act of terrorism," Obama said, adding that it remained unclear who carried out the attack and why.
Obama said that "this is a good time for all of us to remember that we all have a part to play in alerting authorities if you see something suspicious," telling Americans to "speak up."
I rest my case. Happy now, CNN? Got your "T-word" soundbite to make you feel all warm and gooey inside? Your veritable green light for ramping up the bobbleheaded "analysis" that amounts to nothing more than speculation, conjecture and fabiraction designed to squeeze every last drop of alarm and emotional turmoil out of your viewers/readers? Got any more doozies for us today...any non-credible factoids from nameless, unvetted sources that you just can't wait to broadcast because you're afraid you might be scooped...something incendiary and salacious that you can say "oopsy, sorry, that's not right" later and pretend it was no big deal while the victims and their families and my city mourns?

I suspect this to be domestic terrorism. Our foreign enemies are quick to claim responsibility when they attack us. That has yet to happen. Which leads me to believe this was homegrown.

It is stupid for the president to label any smock from anywhere a terrorist act without know the fact from
Law Enforcements(CIA, FBI...). What about that blast could have come from gas pipe or fire cracker storage,
the president could have looked stupid to make such a pronouncement at the time.

What kind of person would do something so cowardly to attack civilians? If the person has a problem, write letters to newspapers and other media outlets describing the problem; hold protests with large signs. Killing people who are not invovled in your fight or problem shows you don't really have a problem and only want to kill people. If that is the case, I have a list for you of terrorists that have targeted civillians.

President Sarah Palin would have easily prevented this incident with her powers. This country would be protected with the blessings of God. We need her in the White House in 2017.
