Obama's Commerce pick, Penny Pritzker, could rile labor

New York (CNNMoney) - President Obama's allies in the labor movement may not be happy with his choice for commerce secretary.

Obama nominated Chicago businesswoman Penny Pritzker for the post at a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday. Pritzker still needs to be confirmed by the Senate.

I'm not sure if the allegations these labor unions are making are true, but what I gather from the article is that she is pro union and pro business alike albeit she seems to be more pro business. She sounds like someone Romney would have picked. After hearing Sen. Toomey's confession about republicans in Congress, which we already knew, I'm sure this will be an uphill confirmation hearing.

Have to say I don't disagree with the union's assessment on how Hyatt employees are treated. That said, I still don't support unions, as they have created serious problems for America, in many ways, including violence, and illegal activities.
