(CNN) - Parents who lose children in national calamities come to represent a pain and grief and importance that it is difficult to ignore.
Pat Smith, mother of Benghazi victim Sean Smith, a State Department information officer, listened to the Benghazi hearing on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. She said she did not get the answers she was looking for.
FULL STORY

Well of course she didn't. This proves a couple things:
1. Yesterday's hearing was just more kabuki theater from the GOP/Teatrolls and proved nothing; and
2. The GOP/Teatrolls aren't actually interested in getting the answers...they're interested in skirting the answers in a manner that allows them to proliferate conspiracy theories and assumptions, because they're afraid the real answers might not be what they'd prefer them to be.
With the Democrats, Obama and Hillary Clinton, lying, stonewalling and obfuscating this is a high likelihood you will never get answers about the death of your child. Please continue to fight for the truth. You owe it to your son and the country. Don't let them get away with their cover up.
"Hearing didn't give answers"
Duh. The GOP is deliberately obfuscating the answers so they can continue the conspiracy charade.
Get over it, lady. Enough of this hyper-prtisan witch hunt.
She isn't likely to get those answers. the administration has a major cover up in place, and they have no intention of uncovering it.
Sadly she won't get many answers from an "investigation" that's really about House Republicans "proving" (or at the least repeating in the most dramatic way possible) their foregone conclusions. She might have a look at Colonel Pickering's Accountability Review Board report, but really that would only tell her the "what" and not the "why." For a grieving parent I'm not sure that there is an acceptable "why" answer. God himself (or herself, or itself) could tell her "why" and it still wouldn't be enough.
There are no new answers, its just the GOP playing political games
Lady.. you will NEVER get the answers you are looking for as long as you stay brainwashed by the current witch-hunting Neo McCarthy Republicans...
such a shame.
When do we interview the families of the 3000+ lost on 9-11-2001,
and the families of the 4000+ soldiers lost in the ensuing wars?
Whats their take on the job GWBush did?
I'll wait Republicans...
The last time the mother talked to her son was the day he died. He called her, Smith said, to tell her he was worried about people taking pictures outside the consulate in Benghazi.
"He said he reported it and they didn't care," said Smith.

To whom did he report it Mrs. Smith? Is it that you did not get the answers you were looking for, or the answers weren't what you wanted to hear? I'm sorry but darrell issa used you and made you believe this so-called "hearing" was about your son and his colleagues when it was, in reality, nothing more than a (futile) effort to smear Hillary.
She's right, the hearing gave no answers. This is because there are no other answers beyond what we already know. Mrs. Smith's frustration is another poor result of Issa's shameless witchhunt.
She might never get the answer she is looking for , nor will she ever get the answer she want's.
This happens all the time when one loses a loved one , especially a mother .
You blame oneself , or you blame others , anger is part of grieving .
How many mothers feel the same way around the world , wherever there is conflict and war.
Of course there were no answers. The answers can only be given by those that are dead or in hiding and refuse to share with their knowledge of events.
I feel deeply sorry for this woman, but she needs to get a grip.
There are no answers because what the rethugs want answeredis that Hillary was the culprit is not the truth.
On the other hand, what about the parents whose kids were slaughtered in Newtown and whose parents were dissed by the rethugs?
Why don't you ask issa, the car thief and overseer of the oversight committee (like the fox in the hen house) why he voted against money for security for embassies in 2011?
