Obama calls reports of IRS targeting 'outrageous'
(CNN) - "If in fact IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous and there's no place for it - and they have to be held fully accountable," President Barack Obama said Monday.
Obama said he learned of allegations that the IRS targeted conservative groups through news reports on Friday.

Why should ANY of this be a surprise to people? Obama and his administration has REPEATEDLY used the power of the federal government to target people, states and organizations that it did not agree with it. All while the Obama adminstration has openly refused to enforce this nations laws in so many areas but especially with regards to illegal immigration. Obama has created the climate where others now think that they can do the same thing, openly target opponents, while letting clear law breakers go free (ie. New Black Panthers). Yes, this IS OBAMA'S FAULT. The fish rots from the head as they say.

Which of Pres. Obama's appointees? None. The agency was being run by a Bush appointee at the time. And, I think they were expediting the applications submitted by conservative groups. 100% of them were approved. Isn't that odd? Not a single one was declined.

As a Muslim, socialist from Kenya working with the United Nations to confiscate your guns and give them to minorities he certainly has a full plate. I remember when he manipulated the weather to supress conservative voting in the Southern States... He's also going to require that we all become gay and marry somebody of the same gender. Could it be that those charged to catch tax cheats go after organizations who parade around with signs trashing the tax system? Do you think those disgruntled "self-proclaimed patriots" might be more prone to cheat? It a group was advertising support for terrorism think the F.B.I. might take a harder look at them?

and the laws expressly prohibit what the irs was doing. thanks for making my point. laws only have meaning when there is a government that enforces them equally. obama has shown that he will do whatever he wants without regard for the laws of the land, thus the problem.
