New York (CNNMoney) - The Obama administration says the Affordable Care Act will provide cheaper health insurance for millions of Americans.
But some people, particularly young men who aren't insured through their employers, could see their premiums go up once coverage in the state-based insurance exchanges begins in January.
FULL STORY
Obamacare is for the people who want it an the people dont want obamacare use your care.
Dick cheney on fox news blaming obama and clinton for benghazi, wow, never to watch that channel again, the most disrespectful act he has comitted since sending your children to die all for no bid military contracts worth billions. the hypocracy of this man knows no bounds, never vote republican again, what kind of news channel would let this guy say one word about Benghazi, that man should hang for crimes against humanity, and fox news pt him on, what a sham, no wonder no one in the business takes them seriously, if you do, seek help immediatly. very offensive to those who know thw truth, why not ask about the 4500 that died in iraq, afghan? would that not be a much bigger story?
Hard to take the gop seriously anymore, shaeless display of special interest loyalty ive ever seen, have not voted for the people iin decades, will not win the white house for two more dem. terms, if hill decides to run. the gop is using your tax dollars campaigning, and im sick of it. 2016 cant get here soon enough
Gop yet again finds a way to make the taxpayer pay for their antics, this is nothing more than a campaign on your dime, they never seem to be interested in working on things the people want. nothing but attack hillary, man these fools are scared to death, they know she can get things done for the people, not the koch brothers, or someone giving 160 million in campaign contributions, one person, thats crazy.
Remember, the gop tax code would have mittens and the likes, pay 1%, he is in a 36% tax bracket and paid 13%, after ammending the reurn.is'nt this what got us into debt? who are these guys working for?
Who said there is free lunch in the world? Someone else is paying for it and that's why it's called Affordable healthcare not free health care wake up people and smell the coffee.
could see their premiums go up

The "conditional" ('could', 'might') can always be counted on to stir up the frothy crowd without any actual evidence that anything different will actually happen.
ALL of us. Every last one.
Anthem BCBS of Maryland(CareFirst Network) is one of the most expensive plans and one of the cheapest reimbursers to providers. WellPoint(Anthem BCBS) as a whole offer the most expensive plans. The best Anthem plan is the FEP(Federal Employee Program) which I think is the plan everyone in the country should have.
Obama care is a good thing anyway ,if rates go up a little so we all have insurance ,that's ok . Gop going down in 2014!!!!!
Well, naturally young men will pay more. Many of them don't even have insurance. Now, many young men will have insurance by mandated law. The rest of us won't spend as much on our own healthcare paying entirely for theirs. It's called a "pool".
Any other mind-bending revelations this morning?
My premiums went up 50% at my renewal this year. I have no idea why. Obamacare being implemented maybe? or just a coincidence?
"But some people, particularly young men who aren't insured through their employers, could see their premiums go up once coverage in the state-based insurance exchanges begins in January."
Well, if they aren't insured (through their employers) ... and they choose state-based insurance exchanges, chances are they WILL end up paying a higher premium versus their current scenario of not paying anything at all.
Yawn. So basically, women were subsidizing men's health insurance and health care all along. Of course the GOP/Teatrolls think that was the right way for it work. Of course.

Your reasoning makes sense Lynda but it still does not make their assertion a valid one in regards to young men seeing their premiums go up. If you're not paying anything and are now faced with a premium I guess that would be seen as an increase.....just NOT an increase in their premiums seeing as how they didn't have a premium to begin with. Yes?
We're in agreement, per usual!
Bu, Bu, But! I thought this was supposed to be the Affordable Health Care Act !! Now we hear some, (Actually All) will pay more! Say it isn't so, Joe, uh er, Barrack !! You asked for it, now you got it. Surprise, Suprise!
So what...men have been getting freebies since health care was started....and yet we women have to pay for birth control among other things. Cry me a river, men.
