First on CNN: White House releases Benghazi e-mails

(CNN) - The White House released more than 100 pages of e-mails on Wednesday in a bid to quell critics who say President Barack Obama and his aides played politics with national security following the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

The e-mails detail the complex back and forth between the CIA, State Department, and the White House in developing unclassified talking points that were used to underpin a controversial and slow-to-evolve explanation of events last September 11.

Why did it take 100 emails to arrive at a final product that was a total lie? Who came up with the bogus cause of the film trailer? Who was Nuland talking about when she said "her buildings leadership"? Was it Hillary Clinton? Clinton spoke to Hicks on the ground in Benghazi at 2am on the morning of the attack. She knew with 4.5 hours of the attack it was not the result of a demonstration or a movie trailer. And still two weeks after the event, the movie trailer was being brough tup as the cause. Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, everywhere lies to deceive the American electorate 7 weeks before the election.

    What a joke!
    100 e-mails?
You can be sure that they have been scrubbed and only say that Obama and Holder knew nothing nor who was involved. Same answer for all questions.

But when are they going to release the other 100 emails that implicate Obama and Hillary Clinton?

"Act of terror" or "terrorist attack" Stated either way Romney would have still lost. By the time the attack happened everyone pretty much knew who they were going to vote for. This was not a game changer.

It won't matter. The GOP has already made their version of the story their delusional truth. "Where we're going we don't need FACTS". (with apologies to Marty McFly)

Just like Bush and Cheney.....over 5,000 American men and women died because of lies about WMD's.
Please do not forget what they did to our country.

Give them a break. At least they didn't claim all 22 million emails are missing like the Bush administration did.

It was an execution , plain and simple. He, Steven, spoke before the Rotary on Guam before assuming his post. There , on Guam , with Abramoff in the 1990's he muled meth into the territory and other elitist drugs, costing the lives of several persons including CIs and others involved in DEA ops there. This feat of abusing a diplomatic status should only be seen for what it is: A strong message to any D-corps, an example to learn from.
