Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) - An influential social conservative organization in New Hampshire has invited Sen. Ted Cruz to speak to its members, an offer that would present the Texas Republican an opportunity to begin meeting primary voters if he decides to run for president.
Cornerstone Action specifically asked Cruz to address their annual fundraising dinner that will take place in the fall.

"I am very impressed with his record on social issues and education," said Ashley Pratte, executive director of Cornerstone Action. "He would be a good keynote speaker for this organization."
There is speculation that Cruz, who was elected in November, is eyeing a run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016. Earlier this month, Cruz traveled to South Carolina – another important early presidential voting state – to headline a Republican Party fundraiser.
The senator's office said it has not confirmed whether or not he will attend the New Hampshire event.
Cruz, 42, has been an outspoken opponent of President Barack Obama's policies and he has even criticized his own political party. His willingness to do so has earned him accolades from conservatives.
Cornerstone describes its mission as "preserving New Hampshire's traditional values, limited government, and free markets through education, information, and advocacy."
In recent years, the Cornerstone dinner has served as a venue for GOP presidential candidates. Last year, Texas Gov. Rick Perry delivered the keynote address, a speech that went viral because of his bizarre delivery of it. In 2011, former Sen. Rick Santorum and businessman Herman Cain spoke at the Cornerstone fundraiser.
Already, two potential Republican presidential candidates have visited New Hampshire to help raise money for the GOP. This past Monday, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul was the featured speaker at a New Hampshire Republican Party fundraiser, while Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal raised money for state Senate Republicans earlier this month.

This guy makes Rick Perry look almost sane by comparison. Another Texan who is all hat and no cattle........where do they get these guys?
What does he have to offer? I don't see him having any real charisma to convince me that he is a good candidate. His attitudes seem to be that everyone "should fend for themselves."
The early fifties had Joe McCarthy, where much harm was done without retribution to the republican party. Are they (the republicans), going to get another shot at ruining many innocent lives again? If they get it done, the people have no one to blame but themselves for being stupid enough to fall for it again. WAKE-UP people.
I nominate Robin Williams to play this guy in the movie........

If the Republicans think being born in Kenya means you can't be elected POTUS, why do they think being born in Canada is any different?
Ted Cruz punches weakling Liberal's in the gut. THIS is the one guy a stupid Liberal should not debate, he will skin you alive because he can articulate how much nonsense Obama and the Democrats peddle.
He's the anti nanny welfare state which all you goobers think is so wonderful. God Speed Ted on his mission to debunk the sickening progressive liberal pigs. aka Obama, Hillary, Pelosi and Reid.

We need the bad hair man to show us how a Canadian born crazier than bat *hit tea troll can be president.
Democrats, rejoice. Another presidential victory coming your way.
wasted money on a waste of a "possible" candidate. this guy couldn't win any state (other than his own) with more than just a few electoral votes
"Cruz, 42, has been an outspoken opponent of President Barack Obama's policies"
Now there's a surprise. That puts him at the top of the list. Another " Just Say No' kinda guy. Some day you'll have to come up with something other than No Teddy.

Well, as they say...stick to what you know...
Gotat love CNN trying to sell this guy's "maverickiness"...lame...he lashed out at GOPers because they criticized his ridiculous obstruction of regular order on the budget. The guy is an extremist, radical loon. That he blathered nonsense at both political parties doesn't put him in the "middle"...not in this case...no no...it puts him waaaaay to the right of even the current crop of extremist right wing nut jobs.
Not a chance of being POTUS. Despite his education, too narrow-minded, And wasn't he born in Canada?
