President Obama forgets to salute
Washington (CNN) - President Obama seemingly preoccupied forgot one piece of protocol as he boarded Marine One on his way to Annapolis Friday.
Obama walked past the Marine at the bottom of the helicopter's stairs and didn't give the traditional salute.
Realizing his mistake upon entering Marine One the president pivoted in the doorway, jogged back down, shook hands and spoke briefly with the Marine, before boarding the helicopter for a second time.

Excuse me while I forget to care.
He came back out of the helicopter when he remember he had forgotten shook the Marine's hand and again neglected to salute him.....I realize a President has a lot on their mind BUT protocol is one of them and should be second nature by now being it's his second term........Just pointing out the fact's however minor they may be because I know he would do the same.

It is a big deal; The thing that gets me is that he walks back down and still doesn't salute.

I found the story rather appealing.Certainly not to the President's discredit.O is the Commander in Chief but he has never been in the military and I'm hardly surprised he forgot to salute when entering the 'copter.(It's essentially the same protocol as going aboard a ship).To his credit, he came back and apologized-and then forgot to salute again adding a bit of humor to the story and humanity to O.Bet I can tell you just about what O said""Sorry about the salute,Corporal.Where you from,Son? From my experience as an enlisted man,on those rare occasions when high ranking officers or other dignitaries speak to you they always ask you where you're from,even if they don't ask your name,Maybe that's because you already have a name–Pvt or Cpl or whatever.
Some if some one disrepects Obama ; I guess no big deal as well.
I wish Obama spent as much time trying to create jobs and get the economy going as he spent trying to strip our constitution and extinguish our civil rights.
Save us the faux outrage Tim. President Obama is disrespected everyday by countless people. It's actually encouraged by the Fox massas. You just did it yourself by not referring to him as President Obama. But that was your goal anyways huh slugger??
He sure remembered to bow to the Arab king. Let's give him that.
It would be nice if Congress spent 1/4 of the time that they spend on trying to stop abortion and repealing the ACA, on jobs, they would actually be doing some work.
