5 things about the controversy surrounding AG Eric Holder

IF THE Adminstration did nothing about national security leaks then there would be something to complain about. Mr. Holder is doing his job. I wish these congresspeople would do the same.

Here's the problem. There was an incident of a national security leak a couple of years ago. The fast and furious Republicans had Sen. Minority Leader McConnell demand that their be an investigation. Apparently, the investigative trail has lead towards the right wing and right wing media. That was not the plan.

Republicans wanted the trail to lead towards liberals, Democrats, and specifically the White House. And, it hasn't. The finger of guilt is pointing at the right wing media, who pretends this is about whistleblowers being subjected to government abuse, when it is really about reporters criminalizing their trade by leaking top national security secrets.

All three of these alleged "scandals" (IRS, bugging journalists and Benghazi) seem to be losing steam in the mainstream media because the Republicans have not been able to establish there was any deliberate wrongdoing or a clear connection to the White House. Mistakes? Sure, there have been lots of those. But when haven't government agencies made mistakes? Hint: it's not just in Democratic administrations. Republicans are making the same mistake they made with Bill Clinton - overreaching and distorting facts to fit a partisan narrative. It's a house of cards that will eventually collapse on the Republicans.

"Obama could decide a drastic gesture is needed to try to move past a climate of crises. "

And he'd be very very wrong. There's no moving past it. These GOP/Teatroll clowns are so angry and distraught over losing the WH to a black man...not to mention staring down the 12-guage barrel of demographic Armageddon...after being promised permanent majority and control for almost a decade that they will just fabricate and manufacture more "crises" and "scandals" and fling even more baseless accusations if Obama somehow takes any of the current ones away from them. It's what they do. It's all they've done since he took office on January 20, 2013. If they can't RULE over the country, then they sure as heck aren't going to bother trying to govern.

incompetents like holder are the norm in the obama administration. if he got rid of holder, he'd have to get rid of all the others. no one would be left except for the main incompetent, obama.
