Source: Obama gets suspicious letter
(CNN) - A suspicious letter addressed to President Barack Obama intercepted Thursday in the Washington area appears to be connected to possibly poison-laced notes sent to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and an anti-illegal-gun group he founded, a law enforcement official said.
The official did not know the status of any testing on anything found in the letter and did not disclose any details about whether there was a message in the letter. The source said the letter appears similar to the notes sent to the mayor and his group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

This has the NRA written all over it. When they catch the person(s) behind this, show them no mercy and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
I'm still waiting for the NRA to put out a statement denouncing these "poisoned" letters. These are a direct threat
on someone's life, and the NRA should put out the flame that they started with their outrageous talk.
But, I am not holding my breath.

As much as I agree with the sentiment, I'm of the opinion that the public discourse is always best served by the NRA keeping its lying, demagoguing, lobbyist mouth and wallet shut.
And this isn't really a partisan issue in terms of victimhood here: a conference call with the Tea Party today just elicited an interesting answer from a participant to a question about how to get Susan Collins (R-ME) to better pay attention to their demands. The person's answers? "Shoot her."
Being a radical Muslim it is no wonder he get a letter like this. This is America and we need to defend our freedoms and not turn them over to big government. I don't condone a letter that inflicts harm, this would be a cowardly terrorist act like the muslim would do to poor innocent women and children. Why? Because they are cowards and don't want to face American head on in a fair fight. They are low life's of the worst order.
The NRA support our 2 amendment rights and I support the NRA. Our fore Father knew this day was coming and the obama administration is doing all they can to become in control of our every move. Beware America, this lying administration will have hell to pay sooner or later as the buck don't stop with the potus anymore as he ain't in control and denies and involvement in all the scandals that are going on.

True enough. Speaking of "good guys"...one of their most prominent activist members in Utah...a guy who "lost" his AR-15 gun a couple weeks ago by leaving it in his unlocked car...was just arrested for domestic abuse. It's a small small man who needs a big big gun.

What part of "ricin" and "attempt on the President's life" are you having trouble with?
So the process of trying to kill someone seems like it takes more deliberation and planning when you can't just grab a gun and do it. Hmmmmmm
