Chelsea Clinton: 'Unabashedly' biased toward mom
(CNN) - Should Hillary Clinton decide to run for president again, she doesn't need to worry about convincing daughter Chelsea.
"She's my mom. I'm just unabashedly, unapologetically biased towards her, because I think she's just awesome in every way. She exemplifies and supports and advocates for so much of what I believe in," the younger Clinton told CNN's Michaela Pereira in an interview. All three Clintons - former President Bill, former Secretary of State Hillary, and former First Daughter Chelsea - are in Chicago for the meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative.
The foundation started by the former president was recently renamed the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation to reflect the entire family's contributions.
In the interview with CNN, Chelsea said one of her priorities is helping young women find role models in male-dominated fields.
"We need Hollywood to make movies and television shows about sexy female engineers. At the fourth grade level, girls at the same percentages of boys say they're interested in careers in engineering or math or astrophysics, but by eighth grade that has dropped precipitously."
"I think that they're not seeing role models," Clinton explained. "They're seeing boys who are astronauts. They're seeing boys who are engineers. They're seeing boys who start Facebook or Google and they're not seeing girls, and it's really hard to imagine yourself as something that you don't see, particularly, when you're a kid."

Wonderful, just what we need. Another member of the media biased towards the democrats and making no bones about it. I hope if Hillary does in fact run that Chelsea is forced to resign from CBS as Maria Shiver was when Arnold ran for Gov. of Cal. But I am not going to hold my breath that that will happen.

Your mom is awesome Chelsea, and has shown herself to be a true civil servant and a class act .
Hilary Clinton is not just heads above most women in politics but when the time came to serve her country she put all the pettiness and bs of the campaign aside and did her job admirably.
That's another thing she has come 2016, if she does run, she is not a sore loser! Too bad the repugs and tea trolls can't be more like her. Then again they are not worthy of even sing mentioned in the same sentence with her.
Fine, but does everyone have to be "sexy" all the time, in the movies or elsewhere? As a sexy technician myself, I can say that the pressure is UNBEARABLE.
That's her mother. You should be more concerned if she weren't fully supportive of her own mother. That would be worse.
I really love her other statements about role models for young women. Hillary Clinton is a fine example of a woman to look up to. Bash her all you want, but she has held her head high regardless of what people have thrown at her and she is an intelligent and educated woman. Chelsea Clinton has grown up in the spotlight, but she has maintained at the very least the appearance of being well balanced and she too is an intelligent and educated woman. I can only hope that more women like these two step forward to give my daughter better role models than scrawny, uneducated actresses and "celebrities" who merely hawk their outrageous lifestyles.

I guess the good 'ol U.S. of A. is sort of like a 3rd world country, in that regard – meaning that practically every other country has Had a woman for their Leader, such as chancellor angela merkel ( Germany) and England has several prime ministers who were women – how about France ? How about Australia ? How about Ireland ? How about Scotland ? I can go on & on. Oh well, IF she doesn't make it, then Geraldine Ferrero will end up rolling in her grave. Truth be known, if she doesn't make it, then it would be YEARS, before we get a female who knows a little something about politics, in the white house.

Just saying, if Congress had not cut funding for embassy security the embassy would have had more security. Do you know that House Republicans had consciously voted to reduce the funds allocated to the State Department for embassy security since winning the majority in 2010, according to Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah)? Do you know that the House just added 2 billion to the budget for embassy security (after the Benghazi attack, of course)?
