G8 summit starts with talk of trade deal

[Breaking news update at 10:31 a.m. Monday ]

(CNN) - The first round of negotiations for a possible new trans-Atlantic trade deal between the United States and the European Union will take place next month in Washington, U.S. President Barack Obama said Monday at the Group of Eight summit in Northern Ireland. "I believe that we can form an economic alliance as strong as our diplomatic and security alliances," President Obama said.

    oh great... so will the usa now join the eu so we can pay for all of their bankrupt socialist countries while we also go bankrupt at lightning speed?

    Getting down to business with Russia would not be that easy with Britain our staunch ally being accused of spying on G8 delegates including Russia in 2009.
    Also the NSA surveillance & drop in Pr.Obama's approval rating would hang heavy on our side.
