Washington (CNN) - The temporary head of the beleaguered Internal Revenue Service seems to have missed his first major deadline.

Fox-lite has their healthy dose of scandal for the weekend........
I'm almost positive that Obama told him to miss it........
@Wake up,
I don't understand why you have a problem with the press actually doing their job and being skeptical of the president. Why do you want the press to just rubber stamp everything he does? It's scary, dude.
And they are late from the date they said they would have the report. Do you NOT want them to report that? Do you want the press to cover that up? it's late. That's a fact.
There they go again, playing "rope-a-dope" with the Republicans. Give them some red meat so that they can whoop, holler, rant and whine about something petty.
IRS = Obama Third Reich.
Let the conspiracy theories begin.
LOL..
Obama: "Gimme a report in 30 days...by June 21st."
Werfel: "Yes sir."
...tick tock...
Werfel: "I'm sorry sir, but I need a few more days."
Obama: "Ok, just get it to me no later than the end of June."
CNN and GOP/Teartolls: "OMG WERFEL MISSED A DEADLINE!!!!!"
Me: "Yawn."

It's not THAT they report it, it's HOW they report it. But you know that and you're just being deliberately obtuse in order to make your snide little arguments. Werfel didn't "miss a deadline." He no doubt talked to everyone and said he needed more time. Characterizing it as "missing a deadline" carries with it all kinds of implied nonsense, including the idea that he just blew the deadline without letting anyone know or asking for an extension. It's deliberate sensationalism and a purposeful attempt to present the facts in a manner that will most easily and is most likely generate more nontroversy.
