WikiLeaks' Assange slams Obama 'betrayal'
London (CNN) - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange urged the world Saturday to "stand with" Edward Snowden, the man who admitted leaking top-secret details about U.S. surveillance programs, according to the text of a speech posted on Twitter.
As he appealed for a "brave country" to step forward and offer Snowden asylum, Assange also accused U.S. President Barack Obama of betraying a generation of "young, technically minded people."

Obama is only doing what he has to do. I think that while there may be some questions about privacy, as long as they're doing it right, not invading people's personal privacy, and focusing on terorism, then it's the right thing to do to keep us safe. If bad guys are talking about their plans on email or cell phones, I want the government to hear it! All the liberals who care only about privacy should realize that their freedom is based on their safety.
