IRS probe finds more screening lists
Washington (CNN) - The Internal Revenue Service used multiple lists of inappropriate criteria in reviewing applications for tax-exempt status, the temporary head of the tax agency said Monday in his first report on the targeting of conservative groups.
IRS Principal Deputy Commissioner Daniel Werfel provided no details of what other inappropriate criteria were on the lists, but said "there was a wide-ranging set of categories and cases that spanned a broad spectrum."

Can't wait for this one....the mob will be in all its misbegotten glory.
It wasn't intentional because they were doing their job in trying to fight against FRAUD, which clearly there is a lot of fraudulent activity going on regarding tax exempt status.
Right up and thru obama they knew they were doing wrong and they will lie, cover-up, and declare that nothing was done wrong. Government is no longer to be trusted with the dim wits that are in control in Washington today.
And another Republican-built conspiracy dies in the dirt. This one had neither legs or reality to make it work.
Well, we know one who did something wrong. The IRS manager in Cincinnati, who is a conservative Republican, should not have tried to streamline the 501c4 application process for Tea Party groups. After all, the 501c4 designation is for social welfare groups, not political groups.
The IRS should enforce the law as written. Not the change in wording by the IRS in 1959 that was not legal. If they enforce the law as written that will stop all this crap.
Look to your left. Come on people, look to your left. Now, look to the right, yes look to the right. As soon as we get you to focus your attention on something other than your own plight of low income, no healthcare, no ability to claw your way out of your own hole, we'll do whatever possible to whip your attention another way. We need you to do this because we, the people you've entrusted to do the right thing, just can't help filling our own pockets and making life easier for us. We've sold you out, and we hope you never catch on. Now look to the left again. Oh wait, look to the right.
I guess according to the GOP garbage of America party, the IRS is not supposed to screen anybody to find tax cheats like the GOP tea party groups unless the GOP is in the White House , where they won't find them selfs for several more decades if ever, GOP are total losers!!!!! Still!!!

The GOP keeps inducing a coma in the country with the cast of incompetant buffoons they are offering as " leaders". Only the most blatantly partisan, blinkered fools ( please refer to exhibit " Ricky" above) would keep rolling out the same patently ludicrous statements, day after day, without admitting the possibility their side could be wrong.
What I want to know is precisely who was behind the black-op: who filtered the story to the media that ONLY conservatives were targeted. Clearly, everyone was targeted, and quite properly. But someone made this a story about conservatives, and I want to know who.

Tearing down barriers, blah, blah,blah. Those barriers were torn down a long time ago. If they weren't Bloomerhead wouldn't be in the White House, would he? But as at least one person wrote Amatuer Hour. Ed Klien, I think. A leading liberal. The problem with some of you people is you don't want to do any of the hard work. As a result, over 80 years now, we have a nearly 17 Trillion Dollar Federal debt. Need a job? You won't find it until someone with some common sense get's elected.

And there you have it, folks. Someone who lacks the very thing he claims we need. Common sense also says that people need to work together to reach a consensus, something that conservatives label as being a " RINO". Blind adherance to rigid principles, not mention outright falsehoods like liberals having ruled the country for 80 years after some mythical Golden Age, is as dangerous to a democracy as liberals claiming that conservatives have no place in the country. We need each other to make this experiment work, not eradicate each other, or spread outright lies in order to further some short-sighted agenda.

It is the primary job of the IRS to collect taxes and sniff out tax cheats. These people were doing ther jobs. No one is a fan of the IRS but we all recognize the play an important role in taking care of the country's business and helping to keep America strong.
