(CNN) - The United States will keep to routine channels in its efforts to bring self-avowed NSA leaker Edward Snowden back for prosecution, President Barack Obama said Thursday.
"I'm not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker," he told reporters during a news conference in Senegal.

Oh good, we won't start World War 3 over this weasel who is too cowardly to face the music from his whistleblowing.
If he'd stayed here to accept the consequences of his convictions, I'd have a much different opinion of Mr. Snowden, by the way.
Ah, yes. The "hero" Edward Snowden. A 29 year old traitor hopping from one country to another, afraid of his own shadow.
Quite the heroic statement he's making, CNN. Yes?
He's not worth the jet fuel. However, I wouldn't mind a hellfire missle dropping on him. Lord only knows how much damage he's caused.
Why scramble jets when you can use a drone?
i wonder what Snowden has on Obama...
I watched "Skyfall" recently. The U.S. needs a MI6.
Good, that's why Pres. Obama was re-elected POTUS. People know that he's not going to use cowboy diplomacy. What would a fighter jet do, anyway, besides get shot down? Republicans screamed for fighter jets immediately following the Benghazi attacks. As if the jets were going to bomb the compound or something?
No jets? How about drones? Is Obama as liberal as conservatives want everyone to believe? It's a complex world we live in and always has been. The only change between now and a hundred years ago? Awareness!!!
obama also said that he did not contact Putin or china, guess the "29 year old hacker", as obama called him isnt as much of a security threat as he was presented

If you think the government has the authority to force religious groups to perform same-sex marriages, you're wrong. They cannot dictate to private religious organizations and groups about how to perform marriages.
-------
One word – YET.
All the illustrious federal government has to do is threaten religious organizations with their tax-exempt status and they'll either comply or fold. Care to wager?

"I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."
Remember that line, Clinton fans. You'll see it a lot if she's foolish enough to run for President.

CBS News: "You say that the Ryan Plan does not balance the annual budget for 30 years. What would the national deficit be by that time.
Paul Ryan: "I don't know. I haven't run the numbers, yet."
The budget wonk is actually a budget quack. He still doesn't know to this today. He just makes up numbers that sound good, and throws them out there.

It was a figure of speech. He was saying that he's not starting World War III. He's also not showing to much concern about Snowden, because he's trying to downplay the significance of whatever Snowden may be carrying.
Jets wouldn't be needed. The NSA or CIA would hire mercenaries through various other sources to get him "dropped off" in a designated location. As long as there is a far enough removal, there shouldn't be a problem with deniablity.

Fair, Ryan IS a budget quack who uses the works of Ayn Rand, a militant atheist who saw religion as an arm of the state as the blueprint for his budget.

I learned that one from the NRA. "The way to fight a bait and switch is with a better bait and switch." I also note your own bait and switch. You ignored the fact that Ryan actually said that national television, just days after he chosen by Romney.
