Federal judge temporarily blocks new Wisconsin abortion law
(CNN) - A Wisconsin federal judge has granted a temporary restraining order preventing the state from enforcing a new and restrictive abortion law.
The law, signed by Gov. Scott Walker on Friday, bans doctors from performing abortions if they don't have admitting privileges to hospitals within 30 minutes of their practice.

This is why losing the House and so many governorships in 2010 was such a tragedy. The Repub yahoos want to turn the U.S. into another Saudi Arabia, where a couple families own and control everything, woman have no rights, and religious police keep the masses in line – all in the name of God!
Sounds like a ruling based on research and common sense. The conservatives will hate it and call it judicial activism. They won!t be able to explain why it is, but that won't stop em.
