N.C. House passes restrictive abortion bill
(CNN) - North Carolina's House of Representatives passed a restrictive abortion bill Thursday with a 74-41 vote. The bill now heads to the state Senate for approval.
The bill would place requirements on clinics that family planning advocates say would make it hard for them to stay in business. Among the requirements is the presence of a doctor when an abortion is being performed.

And so NC is now a totalitarian fascist theocracy. And the GOP claims they need to reach out to women. Over reach is more like it. When you control and force reproduction of a people you control the bodily functions of the people. By controlling and forcing reproduction the offspring is now a slave of the state.
Repubs love to thump their chests and yammer on about "freedom" when their actions clearly show that they want to control EVERYONE.
Since this and similar laws are in clear violation of Roe v Wade, I think we should immediately cut off all federal aid to N.C., Texas and all other states who pass laws that violate the U.S. Constitution.
Abortion Is Not Healthcare. There needs be more Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

Why is this so damn important? I don't understand why this is the focus when there are many other items that are more important for those that are currently living.
