No Lynda. I believe. I believe in our youth -of all colors- to turn this country around and reverse hateful trends and behaviours.
Quiet as it is kept I also believe in "One God...maker of heaven and earth of all that is seen and unseen...".
I believe. I have to babe. The alternative -hopelessness- is pure poison and NOT an option for me...nor you.
Here's to keeping hope alive in our justice system, in our country, in humanity.
Here's to us Lynda!!!
Very well said Woman in California and Dominican Mama. I too am the mother of a young black man that wears hoodies and has since birth. I fear for him all of the time.
The case was weak and the prosecution allowed the defense to put the deceased victim on trial instead of the assault charge having murderer. I fear there are going to be many more cases like this where the murderer just has to make sure his victim is dead so we don't hear the entire story. But I knew it would end like this. They didn't even want to arrest him, they rarely spoke of his dad being a magistrate and you know there is some ish in the game when the Klan pays for a Mexicans lawyer.
I just wish people would stop calling a dead child and his grieving parents names.
Here's to keeping hope alive in our justice system, in our country, in humanity.
Here's to us Lynda!!!

Indeed. There is always hope. There is always chance. And there is always the future.
And there is always you my friend to bring me back into the spectrum of where I need to be ... not where I've been or where I shouldn't go.
For that I always thank you!
