‘Stop Hillary’ group ramps up anti-Clinton efforts
Washington (CNN) - Hillary Clinton may or may not run for president in 2016, but the conservative effort to derail her potential candidacy is already underway.

The organizers behind Stop Hillary PAC, a political action committee quietly incorporated in May, are stepping into public view this week as they ramp up their efforts to harangue Clinton as she mulls over her political future.
On Monday, the PAC is announcing its leadership team, steered by Ted Harvey, a conservative Colorado state senator who was a vocal opponent of the recent gun control laws passed in the state.
Also coming on board are Garrett Marquis, a media strategist and alumnus of John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign; Alex Shively, a former aide to Georgia Rep. Tom Price; Jacob Leis, a Colorado-based political strategist; and Dan Backer, a Washington attorney and lobbyist.
Those aren’t the most prominent names in Republican politics, but according to Marquis, that’s just fine. The PAC and its messaging are designed to appeal to grassroots conservatives and low dollar contributors, not traditional big donors.
Put another way, the group wants to be a boisterous party-crasher as the 2016 campaign gets underway, ginning up controversy and online contributions with barbed attacks against Clinton. To start, the PAC is releasing a video later this week “that will get a lot of attention,” Marquis promised.

The organization’s plans to “Stop Hillary” are admittedly scattershot in these early stages of the race. Their portfolio could include “bracketing” events at Clinton appearances around the country, or local TV and radio ads, or social media efforts. If Clinton does decide to run for office, the PAC will be in Iowa and New Hampshire and South Carolina waiting for her.
The point, Marquis said, is “to make noise” wherever Clinton goes.
“We’re supporting anything that is the opposite of Hillary,” he said. “We will play however needed, wherever Hillary is playing. If she endorses in the Virginia governor’s race, we will go there. Assuming she is active in Iowa, we will be there, too, and we will make some considerable noise.”

The group is separate from “Stop Hillary 2016,” a project initiated last month by America Rising, a new opposition research outfit helmed by former Mitt Romney campaign manager Matt Rhoades and a pair of former Republican National Committee officials.

This is necessary for Republicans. They certainly cannot win a contest based on ideas and policy.
Ah yes, the obstructionist Republicans out to thwart the woman capable of turning 1k into 100k in 10 months. The woman who thinks, at this point, what difference does it make about fudging the facts about some video causing the Benghazi massacre.
I realize you are geniuses but did you ever think that maybe it was the rush to "do something" that has pushed our country into the mess it is in? That the almighty Federal government has already passed law after law, imposed regulation after regulation? Why, when in doubt, pass another! As if all it takes to pass a great law is for Obama to merely wish it to pass.
Oh no, Republicans have screwed things up to be sure. But as you go to sleep tonight remember that 1000s upon 1000s of pages of regulations have been added in 1 year and yet...things aren't perfect yet.
In other words they are going to tell the truth while the MSM covers up all of her failings. This is a better way of stating the obvious.
So what's coming down the pike? Birth Certificate crazy has been done. Nobody really knows what Bengazi is supposed to be about. Maybe she had lunch with Bill Ayers once? Well, that didn't work with Obama, maybe she had a radical pastor. Nope, that didn't work. And how about her college transcripts, and does she use a teleprompter? Oh yeah, those ran out of gas too. I know! 1970's Cattle Futures! That'll get her!
She could probably put everything on auto-pilot and win with the current state of the GOP.
Maybe we can get the truth about Hillary out there. If McCain hadn't been such a putz, Obama would have never been elected. McCain didn't want to tie Obama to his terrorist friend Bill Ayers (who hosted Obama's first fund raiser), or point out his socialist views and vile hatred of the America as founded. While I respect McCain's military service to this country, he is a RINO and shouldn't have been allowed to run the entire campaign against Obama. The country needs the truth out there. Hillary is much worse than her husband. The only thing he really cared about was the happiness of his nether region.
Benghazi summary – Hillary lied, men died. Hillary doesn't care. Obama lied, refused to help, and fired generals who wanted to help. Obama and Hillary covered it up and demoted those who spoke up. Obama and Hillary can not be trusted.
Don't these people have better things to do? Like, maybe supporting their own party? Let the candidates speak for themselves. This silly smear campaign speaks ill more about the "Stop Hilary" group and it's supporters than it does Hilary.
Hilary will win on 2016, im not an american but i feel and know by faith she will win the US President election on 2016, God Bless you President Hilary Clinton.

I'm sure they wanted tax exempt status. Think about why such extra scrutiny was given to certain request at the IRS.

Hillary will be even worse than Obama when it comes to lying and hiding facts. We don't need 4 or 8 more years of Obama rule. The goal for both Democrats and Republicans should be to run someone that isn't a professional politician. You know, someone who can actually help the people of America and not just themselves or their parties.
Since the Obama admin and the Obama campaign with the help of the IRS actively stopped conservative groups from organizing, seems fair to me.

We should have Hillary and Obama's heads on a platter for many a crime, but at least for the murder of our Navy Seals and Ambassador in Benghazi. America has been dumbed down so severely that they would vote for such bottom feeders as these. I mourn for our nation.

Hillary won't be running in 2016. Her Doctor recently discovered a large brain tumor during her colonoscopy.
If she does get elected, which is highly unlikely, she would be the third worst president in history, pushing Bill out of his current 3rd place standing. Now that Demagogues have learned how to buy the presidency, I am afraid we are in for a long line of loser Demagogues, and the country will cease to exist as a republic and just become a third world banana republic.

Sounds like yet another example of the conservatives having nothing new to offer. If you don't have any ideas or any compelling reason people should vote for you, you might as well try to drag Hillary down.
