Four-part series on Hillary Clinton in the works
(CNN) - The title "Rodham" has already been claimed for a forthcoming film, and now a new series coming to broadcast television will use the other half of a famous name: "Hillary."
It could find a larger audience than other such projects in the works – it is being produced for a broadcast television network.

Former secretary of state, senator, first lady – and possible 2016 presidential candidate – Hillary Clinton will be the subject of a four-hour miniseries coming to NBC, the network said Saturday.
Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actress Diane Lane will play Clinton, and the series will be written by Courtney Hunt, whose debut film "Frozen River" was nominated for an Oscar.
NBC said the series is in "early development" alongside other historical-themed projects.
"Hillary" will begin in 1998, the year her husband, President Bill Clinton, denied having had an affair with a White House intern and was impeached by the House.
It was not clear whether an actor would be cast to play him or who that would be.
"In the years following, she would eventually become a United States senator, run for president and, ultimately, serve the country as secretary of state," the network said.
The producers of "Rodham" have not yet announced a leading actress but said they are talking to a number of potential candidates. It will focus on an earlier period in her life when she worked on the House committee investigating the Watergate scandal.
Update, 7/29/2013: CNN announced on Monday that CNN FILMS is planning a documentary project on Hillary Clinton, produced by Academy Award winning producer and director Charles Ferguson.

A mini-series and a film just to campaign for president. What a waste. The real tragedy is that it'll probably work because there are too many people ready to believe her lies.

I can hardly wait to see the episode about Benghazi. You know, the part where she stands up and demands that the military rush troops to help save the employees she left unprotected. Ooops, sorry that never happened but I'm sure Hollywood will make it up for Clinton because the truth is just too ugly. WHAT DOES IT MATTER?!! It matters if it was your job to proetct and help them and you failed miserably at both.

I wonder if the ending will be a conversation about what to do during the Benghazi attacks between her and Obama and then all of a sudden fade to black like the Sopranos?
The very thought for this might stir the US House into passing bill on 'Film Control' or create a counter on 'Sarah' instead. Either way it will be more fun for American politics in general & the media, specifically.

I can't help but wonder if this is the real story, or the polished version made by Hillary... I think she's very brilliant, but I don't trust the woman ...
I don't get the point of this, there are thousands of other people who would make for a more interesting television show. I'm not sure exactly what she has done that is so great. Obviously this is being done to hype her up before the 2016 elections.
