You cannt stop what they allot themselves. The state has cause to reappraise/revalue whatever is due to them based on other professional remunerations. But their greed to amass wealth via political compromises to the point of mortgaging their consciences is the difficut one. Is a game for highest bidder.
Yet some of those same members of Congress are quick to fault unions for failing pension funds around the country.
Rob this nation–USA know this truth.
After slaving to make ends wave at each other for 47 years, I'm too tired to run for anything..................except the bathroom.
Well duh. Why do you think that is?
Cushy job. Making thousands of dollars (both legally and under the table for many) doing as little as possible with long holidays and month long vacations. Nice wheels. Free parking out everywhere. Going to expensive lobying parties or jutst plain accepting money for votes. In house cafeteria with good very inexpensive food while they are denying millions of seniors their one Meal on Wheels meal same with poor children. VERY inexpensive health that they take with them when they retire and as you can see above a very nice chunk of tax payer money so they can live well in retirement while the middle class (whatever that is anymore) and poor can't even think of retirement.
All that power to take away our rights and do nothing for the country unless you are rich. I guess it does pay in so many ways.
Finally: a red meat dish for ALL of us, right or left, to ravenously tear into, LOL
