Washington (CNNMoney) - Obamacare would keep running even in a government shutdown, a new congressional report suggests.
The new health care law draws funding from sources that are not subject to the congressional budget process, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service. Also, the revenue collected under Obamacare is considered to be part of a category that ensures the "safety of human life or the protection of property," which makes it immune to government shutdowns, the report said.

LOL. Translation: "Partisan hacks threatening this tactic to pander to the Teatrolls didn't understand what they were talking about from the get-go, which is what makes them so freekin dangerous to have in positions of power in the first place."
Wanna disagree and argue that they did know this? Go ahead...that just makes it worse. They're either incompetent or liars. Choose.
Ha! "Please proceed, GOP (TM)"
Aaaah. Another "Ooops moment" for Baoehner and the anti-American irregulars (a.k.a. the TEA Party).
That's wonderful news. These Republicans are the most obstructive, disgusting people ever in the history of the United States. I changed 3 years ago because of their behavior and demonizing. I've never seen any President treated the way this one has been ever. They will pay in the end. And I will not be a part of it anymore.
Every thing will go good.
"He and Cruz argued that if the House passed a bill to fund all of the government except for Obamacare and the president blocked it, it would be the White House shutting down the government, not the GOP."
Games. Republicans should be proud, taking the taxpayers hard earned money as a salary just to play games.
Coburn and Cruz in an argument. Coburn said they could not legally defund ACA, This is what was said:

Like it or not in effect some republicans voted for health care otherwise it would never have been passed into law . It also stood the test OF SCOTUS and denied no-one the right to stay with existing coverage by an insurer if they so wished.
All this talk of attempting a defunding or the multiple attempts of legislation designed to undermine the law will without fail either never get to the senate floor or be vetoed by the president and it will move forward all the way thru to 2016.
Republicans need to face reality the law will remain in its existing form unless and until they either control the house and senate ( even then till 2016 Obama has the veto) or win the next presidential election.
They should stop wasting congressional time on this and CAMPAIGN FOR ITS REPEAL AS HARD AS THEY LIKE.
If its a key factor then they should win big time in 2014 but methinks not so. It's Jobs JObs JOBS and the economy idiots!!

Hodgson.
