Hiring slumps in July

New York (CNNMoney) - The job market hit a speed bump in July, as hiring slowed and both hours worked and wages fell slightly.

The U.S. economy added 162,000 jobs in July, falling below forecasts. Economists surveyed by CNNMoney had predicted employers would add 180,000 jobs.

You won't hear this on Fox "news"! This story isn't FAIR in regards to their agenda and isn't BALANCED, because it makes Obama look good and Boehner look bad!

Posting this before I see any others, here is my prediction.

Posts will be overwhelming from Democrats, praising Obama, for the job numbers. This will come after they have post on articles saying Obama can't get anything done because of the Republicans in the house. I'm not sure how this works, but let see how true it is.

As a follow up to my previous post. If government can't get anything done, and job numbers are improving. Wouldn't it make sense that if government did even less, would numbers get better faster?

162,000 people got jobs so what? It's a lousy number. It needs to be at least 20,000,000 jobs a month to make a difference. This failure of a POTUS should never have been elected in the first place. After all he's not one of us and he had zero experience being a POTUS. Mitt would have rubbed his magic panties the day after inauguration and we would be out of this recession by now and everyone would have very high paying jobs. This marxist hates Amurrikkka and is doing everything in his power to destroy it!!

    Impeach Obummer!!
How did I do Uncle Rush?? Did I cover everything you, Uncle Sean and Uncle Glen told me to??

Economy improving, corporate profits at all time high, stock market at all time highs, health insurance rates dropping. The evil, divisive, Muslim, socialist President who is destroying our kids future and is foolishly trying to clean up the air we breath must have us all fooled. These numbers are better than the saviour George Bush, who started with a debt of 0. How could this be? Everything that was supposed to happen isn't happening! I have too much money in my bank account. I was told by Fox this wouldn't happen! CNN your just one of those Liberal biased media things, how dare you report this! Oh well......... I still hate Obama!

What they don't show/tell you the number of full time with benefits/part time without benefits. Sick of the medias leaving out that import report, but then any thing to make Obama look good, even though his policies are nothing more than daily jokes to the real American tax payer.

The figures will lie and the liars will figure. At least jobs are keeping up somewhat. Until Obama Care is repealed and the Bush Tax Cuts are extended for a long, long time, jobs will be scarce. You just have to look at the last 5 years to get a glimps of the future. Jobs will not come back to U.S. Shores as long as our friendly Government continues to Screw Big Business. Don't like it? Beggers can't be Choosers. The Union's tried it. You saw the results. And Oh, look at Detroit as another example. Sorry!

That "Dropped Out of the Work Force" has gotten OLD. Come up with another comment. Like it or not, Barrack Hussan Obama was ELECTED TWICE! So no matter how much you call him names, he is still your president. Talk about sore loosers!

    PS- Jobs were still created!

Can you articulate what the government is doing that is slowing job growth?

They told us because of the sequester we would lose 700,000 jobs... Here is your proof.. And even though the number is not bad, employment has slowed down. The Republicans are trying to destroy the economy. They know it's the only way they will win the White House again...

That is not surprising. Wonder how many college graduates have yet to find a job? A lot, I think. A whole lot.

I've been told that the federal government employs over 4 million people. To answer your question, how would laying off 2 miilion of them speed up economic recovery? Here's a hint to what would happen. We lost 2 mllion jobs in 2008 before Wall Street collapsed, and another 2 million more before the end of the year.

"Now let's see another poll asking, would you oppose a federal bailout if YOUR city was filing bankruptcy and your retirement or pensions were in jeopardy?"

Make is a southern city with a much higher white population and you'd see a major change in the polling. As it is, the blue states are bailing out the red states already...every day, every week, every month, every year....because, while places like MA and NY pay in far more federal taxes than they receive in federal aid, the red states are sucking up far more in federal aid than they pay in federal taxes. It's like Randroid's nonsense attacking NJ the other day...NJ pays in more than it gets while KY receives $1.66 in federal aid for every dollar it pays in federal taxes. And yet, what do we have to listen to from them? "Oh, the "urban" people just want to take take take...gimme gimme gimme...I'm so sick of paying federal taxes so they can live like layabouts." KY and states like it aren't even paying taxes to cover the federal aid they themselves receive and yet that's the nonsense we have to put up with from the majority of their populations.
