Issa, IRS escalate fight over investigation

Washington (CNN) - Washington's war over alleged Internal Revenue Service targeting of conservative groups escalated sharply on Friday as Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa issued a subpoena to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, and the head of the IRS accused Issa of making a series of "inaccurate and unfair" statements earlier in the week.

At a testy hearing Friday morning - shortly before Congress broke for its summer recess - Issa blasted acting IRS chief Daniel Werfel for "slow-rolling" congressional investigators by refusing to release requested records in a timely manner.

Oh please, oh please, oh please. If we have to spend more money on investigations---lets investigate Issa. We might really turn something up that someone should be in jail for.

Is anyone really surprised that an Obama Administration drone is lying and/or covering up?

Now that Bengahzi-gate blew up on the GOP (again), they have to try to make noise on their fake IRS-gate. Really Pathetic Issa.

For a nano second I thought somebody had put the car thief in a coffin and finally slammed the top down on him to send him back to CA to live off tax payers money. I would think that his hefty pension and free medical insurance will keep him from a life of crime after he is voted out.

The more they scream (the IRS) the closer you're getting to busting it wide open.

Mr. Issa don't you understand that you and your investigation are not suppose to get to tbe bottom of any of this. The administration doesn't want it known. If they did it would have been done already.
