(CNN) - Republican James Inhofe, the senior senator from Oklahoma, announced Wednesday that he will seek re-election next year.
Inhofe made the announcement on KRMG, a Tulsa, Oklahoma radio station.
KRMG quoted Inhofe as making the decision to run again hours after President Obama won reelection in November of last year.
"I went home and I talked to my wife and I said you know we've got a serious problem here, we're going to have this guy around for four more years," Inhofe told KRMG. "I just can't bail out now."
The three-term senator won the general election in 2008 with 57% of the vote.
Would somebody pleas tell this freak the world is round !
Another small problem for the GOP's re-imaging program.
good... another safe republican seat.
Obama is absolutely the worst thing to happen to America, since Lincoln.
That quote of him is crazy talk. Four more years? Dude, it will only be two more years in 2014. They're talking crazy, but it is what the right wing is focused on I'm telling you....they're making sure that Pres. Obama does not get a third term. Crazy.
This will help ensure that Mitch is the next Senate majority leader. Thank you!

He was quoted as saying that "hours after Obama won re-election in Novermber of last year".
You should try READING. It's fundamental, ya know.

And thatwierd disassociated statement has what to do with this conversation? The Right hates America, the government and Obama- we all get that now. Please adjust you tin foil hat and play somewhere else.

What was that you said about reading? I even cited "four years" in my post, Fair. I can't even give you a "nice try" for this one.
Sen Inhofe is just another angry old white man of the Republican/Tea Party who won't step aside. Time for the GOP to join the 21st century.
He has this sewn up. He fits the bill to a T.
1. White male with an R after his name.
2. He hates Obama.
He's in like Flynn.....
Maybe Inhofe should retire now. After Obama, we're going to have Hillary for the next 8 years.

Yeah! How dare someone stop slavery and the dissolution of the union!!!! That's downright awful!
We get it...we all know what underlies and is the core, driving force behind the 5 years of right wing freak-out tantrum we've been subjected to. You can just come out and say it. Don't beat around the bush and stay in the closet. Be all you can be. Say it loud and say it proud. You guys are, unfortunately, who you are.
Another really deep comment from Rick McDaniel. Can you name two specific reasons why you think Obama is "the worst thing to happen to America since Lincoln"? You'd disagree with Obama if he said you have a brain! This story is about Inhofe. Even if you're a Republican from OK and believe the 3 out of 100 skeptical climate scientists, you should vote this guy out. He takes big money from big oil to benefit them and himself, not you. Look it up! (opencongress.org)He writes books and gets rich instead of looking out for your best interests. Why would you want a Senator that is a crook?

You paint with a very broad brush, Counselor. You get away with that in court?
