CNN’s Crossfire is coming back! Starting today – and every day as we count down to the debut of CNN’s Crossfire – our hosts will be presenting classic moments from the program’s 23-year history.
As we started pulling these tapes off the shelf, we were surprised to find so many guests who went on to become household names. Newt Gingrich looks back at one of them in today’s Classic Crossfire moment.

If I remember correctly, Crossfire was canceled shortly after Jon Stewart went on and called the hosts partisan political hacks.
