Breaking: House passes spending bill defunding Obamacare
(CNN) - The Republican-led House on Friday passed a short-term spending plan that would eliminate all funding for Obamacare, setting off a showdown with the Democratic-led Senate that could result in a government shutdown in less than two weeks. The vote was 230-189.
the republicnas have now funded our government minus the train wreck. now let's see if the senate democrats and obama decide to punish the american people by shutting down the governemnt in a tantrum of rage.

Shutdown, Phase One.
Phase Two? Senate strips the defund-Obamacare provision from the bill and sends it back to the House.
Phase Three? House doesn't accept the bill without the defund-Obamacare provision. Boom - shutdown.

Do we realy want the Republicans to lead the economy over another cliff? I say, no.

And now we'll get to watch Senate Democrats ignore, once again, the express will of the people of this country and continue to do everything they can, even if it ruins the economy, to continue to impose the rolling disaster of Obamacare on us.

So, they are voting to defund a law that a conservative court found to be constitutional: what ever happened to using to going back to the Constitution? I guess that document is another convenient excuse for the GOP to deny people access to something they need, namely health insurance.
Funny how the GOP knows they cant defund Obamacare its law. GOP representatives just go through the steps so the crazies on the right keep sending them campaign money. Hey GOP supporters, I have bridge I want to sell you. LMAO.

More delusion. The GOP tha been threatening not only a government shut down (for months now), but other craziness like impeachment. O.k., here it is- your brilliant party has snatched a hostage- the U.S. economy. They want to further hurt the poor, drive up health care costs and throw 40 million Americans out of the health care system, and drive up the debt and deficit if they don't get their way. Either way, those actions MAKE NO SENSE. The ACA is settled law, and it doesn't matter how many lies you tell about it.
Do what you need to do. The GOP's final act of suicide begins today. We ain't going with you.

Again? It's like watching kids on a school yard...alot of blustering and no real action. What's really sad is when I ask people what they don't like about Obamacare, the answer they give is almost always a myth. They don't like it, but they don't actually know how it benefits their lives. Frankly, I'm tired of having my insurance premiums go up to cover those who don't have insurance.
I keep saying President Obama should speak out in favor of breathing, then let the chips fall where they may.
What an unproductive use of time.

House Republicans have not funded the government. The ACA is the law of the land, not a form of discretionary spending. They have to fund the law. What they have done is most likely in violation of the US Constitution.
Besides, what they're doing won't stop it, anyway. The law is considered "critical" because it pertains to health care for potential life threatening conditions. The only way to stop the ACA is to repeal the law, which isn't going to happen prior to 2017.
There's a name for doing something that is a useless, futile act done for no other reason than the fleeting self-gratification of it.

Approximately 20% of the population wants to repeal Obamacare. Repeal and defunding is NOT the will of the people. Please get out of your right wing bubble.
