Washington (CNN) - The White House said Thursday that its Spanish-language health care enrollment tools will not be ready to launch until three weeks after the start of registration on Tuesday.
Administration officials explained there will be Spanish-language speakers on the government's help line beginning on the first day of open enrollment, but the site CuidadodeSalud.gov, will not allow Spanish speakers to compare insurance plans and enroll entirely in Spanish until the week of October 21.

Washington (CNN) - House Republican leaders were forced on Thursday to delay rolling out their bill to raise nation's debt limit, after conservatives complained the package failed to include deep enough budget cuts and significant changes to entitlement programs.
The setback comes as Speaker John Boehner prepares to wrestle with his conference over how to ultimately handle short term spending and the prospect of a government shutdown beginning on Tuesday, if Congress does not act to refill federal coffers.

Pastor Saeed Abedini has been held in Iran and Thursday marked the one year anniversary of his detention.
