Congress sinks to all-time low in CNN polling
Washington (CNN) - As the hours wind down toward a possible government shutdown because of a bitter partisan battle over the new health care law, the approval rating for Congress is plummeting to historic lows.
And a CNN/ORC International poll indicates that it's not just Congress and its top leaders that are making history for all the wrong reasons, but also the tea party movement and the Democratic and Republican parties, too.

I'd like to know who are the idiotic 10% who think Congress is doing a good job.
These republicans are real good at lies. I so look forward to 2014 cause i bet alot of them are outta job. People watch and when it comes time to vote DO IT and clean this government up!

It's Obama's fault. He's making the Repubs. act this way. If he hadn't been elected & then re-elected they wouldn't be acting this way at all.

Those numbers are the reverse of where they stood in CNN polling in May when more respondents had a favorable view of the party than an unfavorable one.

Oh, dear. I've tried so hard not to comment because there is little I can say that will move Congress in the direction I've been pleading for ( a government for the people ) and because I so love a good poll, here I am once again at my keyboard.
1. 90% of Democrats do not like the GOP.
2. 90% of Republicans do not like the Democratic Party.
3. 45% of Independents do not like the GOP.
4. 45% of Independents do not like the Democratic Party.
5. Unlike CNN, I do not include the TeaParty because as far as I am concerned the TeaParty it is one and the same with Republicans.
This leaves America what? All tied up. Fancy that.
Now if only (and I stress the words IF ONLY) our MSM would please start reporting facts, those figures might change and for once our duly elected Congress might actually focus on what is important for Americans - all Americans - and not just those being "polled" for an all tied effect of pitting neighbor against neighbor.
I love it when a rotten political party implodes. Bye Bye GOP!
