FORTUNE: The DNC is nearly broke
(FORTUNE) - There's another budget crisis in Washington, and it's unfolding inside the Democratic party. The Democratic National Committee remains so deeply in the hole from spending in the last election that it is struggling to pay its own vendors.
It is a highly unusual state of affairs for a national party - especially one that can deploy the President as its fundraiser-in-chief - and it speaks to the quiet but serious organizational problems the party has yet to address since the last election, obscured in part by the much messier spectacle of GOP infighting.

Make no mistake that the GOP/Teatrolls recognize that the poor vote and donate mostly Dem and that squeezing the poor by hampering recovery is a "happy consequence" of their attempts to destroy Obama at all costs.

i don't understand why? all the lefties in here are always saying they are sending them money. somebody is lying or somebody is stealing or both. if democrats are involved, my money is on both.
a bankrupt party, with a bankrupt president with bankrupt policies, leading the entire country over the bankruptcy cliff. wake the hell up america before it is too late.
Many reasons for this, but I think the biggest reason is lack of enthusiasm for who's on deck in 2016. The media is so obsessed with Hillary Clinton right now that I think some Dems are just saving their money for her campaign ... and forgetting that 2014 equally matters.
Big donors: pony up. DNC is your game; play it.
OK, time for all those mega rich Hollywood liberals to all contribute a million each. Where is Obama's buddy Warren Buffet? Jay-Z?? What the heck happened to all the money from those celebrity events? Time for an audit I think. Somebody is buying a lot of Michael Jackson memorabilia I think!

Republicans were always in the minority in California. Democrats have ALWAYS controlled the legislature. Just how does getting rid of the minority affect anything? Of course you speak total nonsense, as usual.
California raised taxes through the roof. Highest tax rate in the country. That is why the state is bleeding people and businesses to other states. But keep trying to squeeze more and and more from fewer and fewer. It is clear liberals and Democrats know nothing about math, which is why even the DNC is broke.
