(CNN) - Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson teamed up with "Funny or Die" to make a video that aims to show Obamacare isn't so "scandalous" after all.
Mimicking the show "Scandal," Hudson goes about trying to fix people's problems in Washington, the main plot line of the ABC program. To her own frustration, she comes to find out their struggles aren't so juicy. In this episode, Obamacare ends up saving the day.
The video's release comes just ahead of Tuesday's kick-off for enrollment through the exchanges. Coverage begins January 1.
Saturday Day Night Live also did a spoof on Obamacare, as well as "Breaking Bad."
Stick to acting and singing you don't know anything about what Obamacare will do to us so just put down the Kool Aid.
Any one who really knows about govt run health care knows that it sucks. Just because they are insured doesn't mean that they'll get anywhere near the quality health care that is currently available. Sure, there might be about 5 – 15 % that have it pretty bad now, it would be better to fix what is wrong with what we have now than to blow it up and make it pretty bad for 85-95% which is what is going to happen. Just look at the countries that have socialized medicine and you'll see the best ones have a two tiered systme: the public option that sucks and the super expensive option that anyone who can afford buys. As for the other countries, like Venezuela, well their leader had cancer and what did he do?? Most people in this country who could afford high quality insurance will not be able to afford the high end plan.
I will enroll tomorrow via the California exchange. Can't wait.
