Obama, Netanyahu meeting comes with baggage

President Barack Obama once again finds himself in the middle of a high stakes, tension fraught meeting with a key leader from the Middle East.

Must be Monday.

Just days after a historic phone call between Obama and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, the U.S. president is scheduled to meet with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, at the White House late Monday morning.

All meetings come with some sort of baggage as thsoe engaged are trying to push their agenda.
Now here's the thing: Netenyahu is no dummy. He know which side his bread is buttered on.
Romney made the mistake of thinking that Israel would not stand by Obama in 2012. He was wrong.
And all the baggage you can create is not going to change that.

Oh knock off the warmongering talk, Bibi. Everyone's sick of it.

Carrots and sticks will turn Iran aside from nuclear weaponization and even support for Hamas and other such groups. Iran wants those international sanctions lifted, and they appear willing to deal to make that happen eventually.

The Israelis have some legitimate concerns. We, as a fellow democratic country that follows the rule of law, should listen.

I hope this time he will not try to lecture the POTUS. A good friend always come to leverage his self interest in time of crises. One should remember he also appeared in the middle of our presidential election to steer up things. I am sure he will have a fan fair with his GOP sponsors to drill the chance for peace.
