(CNN) - Some government entities took to Twitter to notify Americans that they're going dark in light of the government shutdown.
While some kept it straight, others took a more light-hearted approach. (On a related note, be sure to see below how Google is tipping its hat to Yosemite National Park's 123rd anniversary.)

And Google tweaked its main page to commemorate Yosemite's birthday, even though many visitors won't get the chance to celebrate in person.
The only really interesting government Twitter accounts are the ones for some of the NASA projects. Most of the rest are just boring news feeds. My favorite is the NASA photo of the day. Magniificent.
Actually, the one thing I'm NOT angry about this morning.
Twitter. Who cares.
Don't know if it has been publicized by the liberally biased media! but White House chefs have been declared essential personnel. The corrupt Obama regime continues their luxurious lifestyle. Please note that the Republican led House sent three resolutions to fund the government to the democrat liberal senate, the last one contained text saying that the congress and th admivistration should not be exempted from OBOZOCARE. Reid rejected it and would not even appointed a conference committee, yet described TheTEA party members as anarchists. And yet the liberally biased media and the corrupt regime gets away with saying the shutdown is the Republicans fault, thanks to the liberally biased media.
Rudy i also like Nasa pic of the day
The right wingnuts and republicans truly are domestic terrorists. They have done more damage than al Qaida could ever do.
Tampa Tim, I dare you to walk up to a 9/11 survivor and say that.
